Default Good morning

My goofy puppy woke me slightly before seven again this morning. She hasn't quite figured out that is too early. I did get a chance to take a little nap for about an hour though.
Last night I made the best fish. All three of the kids actually ate it. I put the tilapia in a pan, used cajun seasoining, sprinkled chopped celery, bell peppers and red onions on the top. Then I put a can of tomato soup and a smidge of water. Threw it in the oven and let it cook for 30 minutes and sit for ten more. The veggies were a little crunchy still but since I was the only one eating them it was okay. We also had the first green beans from the garden...delicious!

((Everybody)) Each of you is on my heart and in my prayers.

Love and hugs,
Crystle

Hi everybody,
I guess you all thought I had dropped off the face of the earth....lol. I have been so busy. A couple of weekends ago about the last time I got to post I left for the weekend on a run to Katy, Tx with hubby. I loved it. All except the Houston traffic...Yiiikkkerrrss!!!! Since then I have been busy at church we have had a lot of special services lately and I keep the church clean and neat in between plus we have 4 graduating from High School this year and we are getting ready for that. Plus lots of end of school activities. Eating has been ugly...and I hate it. Not so much that I eat unlegal stuff I just haven't had time to slow down and eat balanced meals. Hopefully in a couple of weeks things will slow down. As of right now I have a class to go to because I am going to be a dorm mom with our Kids Crusaders Church Camp and my 9 yr old Danielle is going. Plus I'm taking Ashley with me. So I will be gone a whole week in the middle of June. And I am going with hubby once summer kicks in and the girls are going to stay a week with my mom in law while we are gone. Sorry I just haven't had time to post. Forgive me. I think about everyone all time and miss getting to read and post. Just know I am not giving up.
Take care everyone and hopefully I will get to post once things slow down and I get to be home some.....lol
Love ya!!!

Hello everyone! I got up this morning and headed down to the garagio. I had to get a glaze kiln of the last of the kiddies' pots done. I want to deliver them to the school tomorrow so they can give them to their moms for mother's day. I am cutting it close! I put a couple of pieces of my own in there as well. I don't remember pottery being such a long arduous process from when I was in college and high school. It seems I have been working working working, and have nothing worthwhile to show for it!

I got a special offer from Just My Size this morning for free shipping..and their swim suits were 25% off, so I ordered two more! I got a size smaller, so I hope they work out well. One is a cholorban fabric, which will work well for the gym pool, which seems to be about 50% bleach!

COUNTRY: I am so jealous about your green beans! Tom just planted ours two weeks ago. I am not even sure if they are all up yet!

SOLLY: The H2Oman is fairly new...I did not see it when I was looking for a waterproof MP3 player last year. Check it out on Newegg. They have the best price. James will be all over L-ville. Lots of folks tell him they thought pay phones were scarce, but its funny to ride down the road with him. He points them out! I mean, there are bunches around here I have NEVER noticed, but he sees them now! He just called me from Franklin, Kentucky. He spent the night there, and is heading up to L-ville this afternoon. The phones they will probably be using will be in high traffic areas...inner city kind of locations.

ROSALIE: I bought the suit online, and while I could return it, I will not. I will keep it and wear it some, I am sure. I am in the pool so much, it is nice to have a couple of suits to rotate through. The one I have now is from WalMart..I think I paid less the $5 for it on clearance. It used to be burgundy, but the gym pool is so heavily chlorinated, it is now rust colored!

THUNDER: Post when you can! But take some time for YOU and try and come up with some easy to grab meal stuff, so you won't be tempted to eat the wrong stuff just for lack of time. I get Nitro-Tech whey protein bars, and they are a great fast meal on the go. With a bottle of water, they are perfect. You sound so busy! I can relate to all the church activity! We have our last leadership dinner next Monday and I am fixing my beef wellingtons again. Then, perhaps, I will have some time off to play with the clay!

I need to go check on the kiln...I will be back later!

Hi All

I am back from vacation and just getting back into my regular routine. I went to curves this morning and boy do l feel it, not doing if for 2 weeks really lets you know how your body needs it 3 times a week.

I was 187 when we got home sunday night and just eatting SB yesterday and this morning l am already back to 184. So treating ourselfs on holiday didnt hurt in that department too much. But l feel so much better today with no sugar in my system. And l didnt drink any pepsi on my trip so it has been 9 weeks without and l feel great.

We got great news when we got back they are picking up Eric for in home thraphy this month now insteead of Sept so we are so excited that he will learn a better way to communicate with us.

We ordered a SB cookbook before we left and it arrived while we were gone and l am looking forward to trying some recipes and posting them if they turn out good.

I hope everyone is doing great and enjoying spring and getting outside in the nice weather.

I don't have time for individual post as l have to go and get Eric from school but l will try to catch up on everyone later and post again.

Love Mo

Morning everyone,

Notice I did not say "good" morning, although in one way it is!

Reason not a good morning: Yesterday morning Vicki and I entertained at Trinity Rehab, I came home, let Bitsy out and went to dentist. That was fine.

On the way home I was in right lane and some guy in left lane started to swerve out beside me. Scared the you know what out of me. I swerved to the right and speeded up. I am convinced if I didn't he would have hit me near front door. Instead he hit rear quarter panel by gas tank fill. Sheriiff's deputy was a couple of cars behind and stopped. He wouldn't let me get out of car as we were right on edge of road. He called police. We waited a good half hour for them to get there. The guy who hit me came over and apologized, saying he didn't see me I must have been in his blind spot. Thankfully on one was hurt, he admitted to police it was his fault. Police office wouldn't let me get out of car either. Gave me all the info for insurance and sent me on my way, telling me to be careful pulling out into traffic. He kept the man there.

I was shaken up but not hurt. Then I started tio ache, not the usual arthur but additional aches. Took three extra strength Ibruprofen and fell asleep in recliner. DS came up when he got home, Bitsy barking woke me. I was out about 1 1/2 hrs. I was glad I could say it wasn't my fault! He was just glad I wasn't hurt. Needless to say I din't fix supper. DS said he would take care of claim, etc., so I won't have to worry.

So this morning is not a good morning. I ache more than I did last night of course. I called and cancelled NH, if it was now I could probably drag myself there but not this morning. It is a good morning because I am able to be here to tell you why I didn't post yesterday.

No answers to posts, back and hips hurt to sit here. As well as wrists,

I did lose 1#.

May good things happen, Shirley

SEF: I am so glad you were not hurt... sounds like that man was a careless driver! How fortunate for you there was a sheriff right there to help. Go get in the pool...that will help you feel better. Easy, no stress movement will help the aches and stiffness.

Okay, well here was my day today: First, up at 5:30 to get Shelley up for school (but in reality, I go back to bed till 6:15 or so), then I got her on the bus by 6:45 and then watched the news till Kyle got up around 7:30, then got his lunch made and got him off to school. Then I went to get my hair done at the shop (had some blond and copper highlights put in...I'm still getting used to it...I've never had red in my hair before. Shelley is jealous and thinks its cool), then off to Kinney's to pick up a prescription for Kyle, then to the car wash to wash and vacuum my car, then to Lowes and Home Depot to look at bricks for a border around the garden in the front of my house, then to Walmart to buy more yarn (side note: I can NEVER have too much yarn...in case it's ever brought up) and some new rugs for my kitchen, then I came home and mowed the yard with the push mower because my rider needs Derek's attention, but ran out of gas, so I walked to the post office with Junior to get the mail, then to school to get Kyle and Shelley, then home where I finished mowing the yard (remember I ran out of gas), then I mopped the floor and put down my new rugs and just walked Junior around the block so he could shake off outside after having a bath with his new apple-scented shampoo. Now I'm making dinner. My recliner is looking better and better as the day goes on. Let me tell ya!!

Eating was bad, but lightly bad. I'm having Tilapia for dinner...but I'm out of veggies, so, it's literally, just Tilapia.

Okay...Kyle crying...gotta run!!

We just finished dinner. I have two single guys over tonight. They are down chatting with Tom and I was feeling a bit nauseated from my Byetta, so I came up here to chill.

Dinner was Chicken Tika Masala with toppers like unsweetned coconut, almonds, chopped oranges and grapes. I had some brown rice, and made curried cauliflower. I also had a salad, but I only ate some cukes off it since the lizard doesn't like salad. Dessert was brown rice pudding. I think it is the pudding that is making me ill. It is sitting like lead in my tummy.

Off to rest..

Good evening everyone. Been a long day & a trying one too. I'm trying hard not to eat everything in sight right now, so instead of doing that I went for a second walk of the day. Walked 3 miles this am & 2 this pm.

No breakfast, baked chicken breast, cole slaw & vegetable sticks for lunch. Haven't had supper. What I really wanted was a piece of chocolate cake so that's what I had. I know I shouldn't have but I really did need it. You see, they transfered Mom out of the Alzheimer's unit to the regular nursing home & I'm really concerned about it. All afternoon while she was in the wheelchair she kept trying to stand up & of course it would make the alarm go off but no one ever came to check & make sure she was ok. She doesn't have the strength to walk anymore but some days, like today she does stand. In the unit, the girls would put her behind the table so she could stand but not fall. I'm afraid without the supervision & close monitoring that she had in the unit, she will fall & break a hip. I fed her supper & asked the CNA to help me put her to bed before I left to make sure she would be ok. I can't be there all the time & I know I have to trust the Lord that she's be ok but can't help but be concerned.

SEF, Thank God you're ok. Sorry that you are hurting so bad but it sure could have been far worse! Take care of yourself & let others do for you a while. You're worth it!

ericsmommy, Glad to see you back! Seems like you were gone longer than 2 weeks! Hope you had a nice BD. WTG on eating right & getting right back on track!

Monet, Free shipping is always nice. lol I seriously need a new swimsuit too but hate to look for one. Got a catalog from Jessica London. They have some cute suits in there but there's too pricey.

thunderwoman62, Glad you were able to make that trip with your DH! I'm sure he must have enjoyed that too. Hard to believe Danielle is already 9 yr old

Country, I love fresh veggies. Can't wait for dh's garden to start producing. Your tilapia sounds delish!

Solly, Water weight can be so discouraging. but hey, 4 lbs is 4 lbs!

Rosalie, Is that bathroom all finished??

BOB & Toni where are ya?? Did I miss anyone else??

Just a quickie to say I'm still here! Not feeling as bad as I was this morning. Tried to move about and do some exercises to limber up. The pool was really too cool for my muscles, wanted to tighten up so that turned out to be a no-no. Usually the pool is my favorite thing.

I thank God that accident wasn't worse and that there were no serious injuries to either party.

MELF: Why on earth did they move your Mom to NH unit? Once an Alzheimers alsways so. I am a fraid she won't get the attention she needs. Prayers for you both.

May good things happen.

Hello everyone. Sorry I have been MIA today. I had water aerobics this morning, then came home and packed up the last of the kids pots and took them over to the school. I spent a few minutes sorting the pieces, and hopefully the teacher will make sure all the kids get theirs so they can use them as Mother's Day presents.

I am very sleepy today. I slept so so last night, so I am a bit irritated that I am not more alert. Two diet cokes have not helped at all.

I have Kaeleb...I took Justin to work at 4. Kaeleb was very tired, so he is down for a nap, and I think I will put myself down for a nap too! I have NO idea what I am going to fix for dinner. I hope I can find something easy! haha!

BOB: Toni is in Eminence, which is in southeast Missouri. I have missed her lately and was wondering where she was. I do have a phone number for her, so I could call her to check on her. Think I should?

HEY EVERYONE!!

It's my monthly post!! HA! I sure hope that all of you are doing well. I really am so sorry that I haven't been on the board more but I must say that having a child really keeps me busy at night. I just don't know how I'm going to make room for another one in our schedule!! I guess I better figure that out before August huh?

Well, things here are going really good. I am 26 weeks and I'm now feeling a lot of movement in there which is really kind of freaky if I must say so. I still haven't gained any weight but I have a feeling that it will start to go up shortly. My appetite is changing and I'm not having any trouble eating anymore!! I still can't eat a whole bunch at a sitting but it seems like I'm eating more often. I'm craving McDonald's fish sandwiches - what is that?!?! They aren't even that good but for some reason - I want them often!! HAHA!

We only have 11 more days of school and then I'm OFF until October 29th! I am planning on going to the first day of school which is a faculty day - but that's it. I will be getting into my classroom earlier than the other teachers so that I can have everything ready for my sub. I just can't wait to get away from the kids I've got now....I can honestly say this has been my worst year ever!

Well, I hope I can check back soon. I do miss y'all bunches!

Take care!!

Well it looks like my extra 2 miles yesterday evening may have been too much, as I woke up with knee pain this am. It slowed me down but I got out there & walked my 3 miles anyway. Then I had to give in & take something for the pain & ended up taking an afternoon nap which I NEVER do. It's a little better tonight although my hip is acting up again.

SEF, Thanks for your response to my post. Mom seemed to have done ok her first day off the unit. It's a small unit, only capable of handling 16 patients & since my Mom is the least flight risk, she had to be moved to allow another patient to be admitted that needed the lockdown unit more. I understand this & knew it from the beginning...just didn't make it any easier to accept. Anyway, how are you feeling? Hope your day was better.

Fruit, Yes kids have a way of changing your life completely! Glad to hear that you're still doing so well with the pregnancy.
