Today was my weekly "try on" game. I tried on all my clothes that were tight.
First the shirts. When I was gaining all my weight I ordered some western shirts online. All XL and none of them fit! (Western cuts are notorious for this). Well, they all fit now! One is almost too big. And most importantly the arms are fitting (my biggest problem area).
My Christmas dress--was VERY tight in the arms and chest on Christmas. I almost couldn't bend my arms. Fits perfectly now. Oh it's so gorgeous. I'm almost bummed I won't be able to wear it much longer. I might hire a seamstress to alter this one. It's just too slimming and classic.
My size 14 slimline wool black skirt (a classic you know) fits almost perfectly and is oh-so-slimming. I'm going to wear it this week to teach my class (I teach a classic lit class to homeschoolers).
And lastly my size 12 black jeans which I want to wear when my mom visits are comfortable enough to wear now. They are still "too tight". These are the wonderful "stretch" denim. But they will fit great when mom comes and be very slimming. I could look like a size 11 in them. Phew!
Now, when I can get back into my non-stretch denim size elevens you will see a post in size 18 red font with fifteen dancing carrots! LOL I'm hoping that in two months they will fit. I'd like to wear them to Chicago!
I put on my size 17 pants today and they feel a little looser. Pretty soon they will be too big and I can start dipping into my old clothes and later on my "someday clothes" Congrats girls and keep up the good work!
