ooo, one more question, paperclippy: how many lunges per set, and how many reps are you doing currently? And, how many did you do when you started? Can you (or anyone) recommend good inner and outer thigh excersizes? I have been meaning to buy an exercize ball for inner thigh work but right now Im trying to keep my costs down because buying healthier foods has cost more than i thought it would. Any exercises I can do just by using body weight as resistance (like squats and lunges) are my best bet for now.

Oops, sorry I missed your question, I was out of town and didn't have much access to 3FC . . . I do 3 sets of 10 reps (so 30 altogether). So actually what happened is that I took this circuit training class, and we had this one instructor who had us do like two sets of 10 or so. Then we got a new instructor who made us do 3 sets of 10, THREE TIMES! (So 90 altogether.) It totally killed me, but really did build up my muscles a lot. Now I just do three sets of ten. I usually use the weight machine at the gym for inner/outer thigh, but leg lifts are a good bet (esp if you have ankle weights). Also when you do like walking lunges and stuff that works your thighs some too. Anyway, I hope you got some good advice on the exercise forum! Good luck!
