Smile Lost 5 pounds!

Hi,
I am psyched to say I lost 5 pounds in one month. I started keeping track of what I ate (sometimes wrote it down or usually just reminded myself throughout the day) and that helped me realize that I have the power to make food choices at each meal/snack.

I also have been doing winsor pilates 4-5 times a week. I do the basic workout, the buns & thigh, and have just added the upper body workout.

I am excited that my jeans fit better and I feel a little more confident about myself. I have about 10 more pounds to go, and I am sooooo impatient but I am sticking with it. I hope to add walking on a regular schedule but I cant get motivated to get myself on that treadmill.

Anyway I wanted to let you know that I did it, and it has been a challenge, but I am taking it meal by meal. It is not easy because I have several health issues that makes me tired and sick often, and am on medications that make me sleepy, but I am not using that as an excuse anymore.

Thanks for letting me share!
Kitty

WTG!!!! That's Wonderful Kitty so glad that you are making a good effort of it I started Atkins 6 days ago and have so far lost 7 lbs and it feels great!! I have a treadmill at home that I walk on but I am getting the Walking away the pounds DVD's on friday, this has just been so great I also understand about the health issues I have several myself. I'm hypothyroid and I get so tired sometimes and started medication about a month ago, but I still get really sleepy I also have Pulmonary Sarcoidosis (an immune disease in my lungs) that makes it impossible for me to do any high impact exercise so walking is great for me.
I hope you have continued success!! Great job thus far

Take Care!!!
