Well, after 2 years and three months as of this writing, it's fifty pounds gone. Thirty pounds over the first 2 years, just exercising and eating better, then another 20 pounds since Jan. 1, 2004 by keeping to 1400 - 1600 calories, approximately 50% carbs, 25% protein, 25% fat. Still about 20 pounds of fat to go, I think, to get to my size 10 goal.
I've posted in the user gallery, hope this link works:
Wow your AFTER photos look like the Daughter of the BEFORE photos!
I agree with that!! What a difference, CONGRATULATIONS on your hard work and preserverence!!!
I know clothing size is probably our biggest desire to see in smaller numbers, but no way would I have guessed you're at 170 now, I would have thought less than 150. You're very well-proportioned; I'd say that any remaining weight will nicely shrink from all over. Wishing you continued success and deserved pride and happiness!
Thanks, everyone. It did make me feel nervous, posing like that.

Thank you! I wish I really were well-proportioned, but I'm genetically pear-shaped. I had to build up my top half with rowing and water aerobics, and "tear down" my bottom half with all cardio work, in order to get to that look. And there is still work to be done: I've started on weights for my upper body, especially my chest, to help my bustline, and I need more ab work. Always something to do, like an old house.
