Hi all.. I have a short and sweet success story.. I haven't yet reached my goal.. but I know that I will... in time.
I joined this forum back in March of this year. I started my dieting and exercising and lost about 5 pounds.. I hit a plateu and went into depression. I gained all my weight back with my "comfort foods" and I withdrew myself from everything. I gave up too darn easily.
In May, I went to my family reunion. We took loads of pictures and of course some were took of myself. After I got home and viewed the pictures.. I couldn't believe how big I actually was. Well, in my eyes anyway.
I decided I need to stop feeling sorry for myself and do something about it.
SO, I looked into the low carb thing.. I found out I could eat all the meat I wanted and there was plenty of foods and recipes I could try and stay within my carb limit. I was happy about that

Plus I started going to our local gym.. Which is FREE of charge to us Military dependents so I might as well take advantage of that..
So far since May 30th.. I've lost 13 pounds and I couldn't be happier with myself.
The moral of this story, don't ever give up and find something that works for you! It will happen, you just have to be patient!
