I decided to try cutting out white flour and sugar (i.e., reducing carbs). I figured if it drove me crazy, I'd figure out another diet. Much to my surprise, it made me feel better; especially at the end of the day. No sleepiness, no headaches.
I went to the doctor this morning and discovered I lost 7 pounds! I was truly surprised, as my scale at home doesn't reflect that much lost (don't know what that means about my scale).
Great job Donna. Yes, I have cut it out too and feel so much better myself. I still have brown rice and low fat/low carb wheat bread and cereal in the morning but I have been feeling great too and have so much more energy.
Woo woo for you, Junebug! GREAT job! Yah those pounds can creep back up there if we give them a second. But you have made a huge achievement!! I am proud of you for losing all those pounds!!!
