The white rice makes it SBD unfriendly. If it is made with brown rice, then it's ok.. Me, I'll probably get
for saying this, if it's white rice and the total amount of rice in it is pretty minimal, I would have it as a treat ... here's some info from the Good Carbs/Good Fats book: All are 1/2 cup portion
Risotto/Basmati/White long grain = "limited"
Brown/ White long grain converted type/Wild = "good"
Brown Quick Cook/Glutinous/Jasmine/Instant white = "avoid"
Limited/Very Limited / are not defined.. Dr A appears to leave it up to each of us depending on how much weight we need to loose, metabolism, and how each responds to the food.
