  • Hey all - I have not had time to read all the posts this morning. I just wanted to report on Pilates yesterday!! I went - it was painful - in a good way - lol. Some of that was really hard - and I could not get my butt off the floor - lol - but I think that will get easier as I lose more weight - and I get stronger by continuing to go to the class!!

    Other than that - I am down another pound this morning!!! YIPPEEE!! I am going to change my ticker.

  • Morning all (rubbing eyes) I'm tired!!!
    I'm drinking coffee now & plan on going to the laundry and grocery today. I'm also going to go out & peddle some AVON. They are going to be releasing a new eye treatment....it has 2 treatments in 1 jar & it's shaped like an eye. It looks like a really fun item. (Don't worry Pearsy..I have your sample ready & will be shipped ASAP!) So hopefully it will sell easily.
    My eating has been crazy too...maybe it's the weather. I have no desire to prepare dinners & I always want something warm, gooey & fast. I need to stop that!
    No time to say hello to everyone individually...so here's one big HELLO to all!

  • So ladies,
    TOM cam last night and although my eating was poor it was not a complete mess as far as calories go...I worked out at like 11 p.m. after I got home from all the work I had to do last night. I am thinking just for a future reference that strength training when on TOM might not be the best thing to do. Today I am jam packed again. I am working my SAH job for a few hours then I have to get ready and go into Denver to shoot a basketball game...except that this one is way different...Its an NBA game!!! OMG my first professional sports assignment. I am soooooo excited. It will be way hard to stay on track as far as calories go though, they feed the media like crazy. I also may be staying in Colorado Springs for the night (Denver (where the game is) is about 3 hours away, Colorado Springs is like the halfway point. It is my goal to get all the way back home tonight though. I need to be home to workout and I need to get up early tomorrow and get some work in. Wish me luck girls!     Freaky - I am right there with you hon. I cannot seem to get back on track. I am recommiting myself tomorrow. I too have been pretty consistent with exercise, thank god for small miracles.

    focused - wow 10 lbs is great but adding another 2 to that WAY TO GO!! Guess that devotion to the 6 a.m. spinning class is paying off!

    kiko - I know what you mean. That little weekly bahvior goal is paying off big... I dont want to miss a workout because I committed to working on just this one thing.

    Sarah - quit bragging about the beach, some of us are landlocked...j/k I know you are super excited....you wanna bring me along?
  • I'm ticked! I drove to town - 35 minutes - parked and reached for my wallet which was still at home! I was also nearly out of gas so the 35 minute drive home was a tad tense. I got home before noon and said to heck with another hour plus of driving!

    I made some nearly OP Tacos. I'd forgotten how messy they are to eat! The kids and I used to sit along the edge of the bathrub to eat them. Anyhow, I need to change my top so I may as well sneak in a quick nap, right? I'll do treadmill after the nap, I promise!
  • Hi, just thought I'd stop by! The #$%^ doctor's office hasn't called me yet, so I have no idea what's going on! Their line was BUSY all morning and it was SO aggravating. At least I'm leaving to get MORE blood drawn in 30 minutes so hopefully they will just give me the results in person. Still definitely feeling pregnant, but I just want to hear from them that baby is OK. I will be sure to post as soon as I know something!

    In other news, I got an e-mail from another one of my law schools and they not only offered me a place in this fall's incoming class, but also a SCHOLARSHIP! It's not enough to cover all my expenses, but still a substantial amount that will reduce my loans from the six figures to lower in the five figures So excited! The distracting good news came at just the right time.

    Oh, and DH and I are moving AGAIN. GRRRR. The new living situation didn't work out. it's too complicated to get into, but it basically wasn't our fault, and it was out of the hands of the person whose house we were living in. Temporarily we're staying with my parents but we may see about a short-term lease somewhere else.

    When it rains, it pours, huh? So much stuff to deal with this week!

  • HALLOOOOOOOOOO CHICKIEDOODLES! What a crazy day. Snowed just a smidget this morning and cars were wiping out all over the place. Yeesh. The sun came out and now it's melted.

    So I'm feeling a little more positive now that I worked out for an hour and a half last night and dropped one of the 3 lbs I put on last weekend. (I know I haven't changed the ticker....and no one can make me.) Tonight we have a volleyball match, and afterwards, I'm going to take a stab at.... running. I don't even run when I'm being chased, let alone for fun. I'm hoping since the Y has a good track, it won't hurt my knees too badly.

    Christina, you need to take it easy, girl! If that baby's life is in jeopardy, you can't be stressin! Breathe in deep through the nose and out through the mouth. You have to let us know what's going on, though. Hope everything gets better girlie!

  • jeez that's a lot all at once Christina. Great news on the scholarship though. I went to law school for 1 year and am still paying it off. Just remember to make DH do all the heavy lifting with all your moves!!

    I've been keeping busy with the gym, finishing our taxes and keeping my tv diary for the Nielsen ratings. man i watch a lot of tv, lol.

    I'm getting a bit irked at this beach. I've been eating wonderfully, exercising like a fiend but I can't seem to get the darn scale to budge. I'm a week and a half into phase 2 and I've added slowly. I'll either have a slice WW bread or a small serving of fruit. I have no cravings and eat a buttload of veggies. When i enter in my meals though they're right around 1000 calories. i know it should be more but seriously I can't eat any more. I have no doubt that I'm getting healthier but I really want to be healthy and skinny!!
