tazcat - I hope you feel better, make sure you dont step on that computer...I cracked the casing on my latptop that way. Put it beside the bed, woke up and stepped right on the thing!

weezle - I am sure that you will find something. High five on being able to hit your exercise goal early, always knew you were dedicated!

sarahslacker - because of your frequent posts and cute pic I feel like you are one of the bunch already. Good thinking about adding maybe just the one carb in per day on ph2. Seems to be working for the other girls.

Karla - I will have to try sweet potatoes. I am kind of like a little kid, even though I have never tasted them I just got it into my head that I did not like them. How did you cook it?

kyemom - NO!!! I am so sorry hun, but you know just use it as motivation for the next one. Maybe it was the extra kick in the pants that you needed!

crk - thanks for the good wishes on packing. I know you just finished your own move, any secrets to make the job easier?

batmomm - moving locally, but I have barely started getting things done. My MIL is like a drill sargeant and I am sure she will have my head once she realizes I am slacking on packing lol.

stephie - I cook sweet potatoes in the microwave. Then I mash them a little, add Sugar Twin Brown Sugar and cinnamon and Brian and I eat them just like that. My DH is allergic to them so I fix him small red potatoes when I make sweet potatoes for Brian and I. I like to eat the skin too. Lots of fiber.

Default Thursday!

HI ALL!
I'm late, huh? I've been very busy being naughty today . . . I've been doing my taxes . . . at work!! I just kept my door shut. Don't turn me in!
DH came in today to tell me that he quit his job. That's okay, though. Don't worry. He has some very sought after skills and experience and it's always easy as pie for him to find something new and I've put together a fantastic resume for him!
I'm trying a new class today at the gym that target my glutes and abs. I hope I like it.
What should I make for supper tonight? Hmmmmm.
Okay, I'm too tired to think anymore. See ya bright and early tomorrow - PAYDAY!!! I actually don't have any bills this week. Unless they all came in the mail today! I think I'll go shopping this weekend!

Default Confused about Cool Whip

Greetings! I started P1 Monday and all is well so far. This site is incredible! I do have one question. I found the recipe for Choc. Breeze and went straight to the store to load up on ingredients. How is Cool Whip (even Lite or Free) acceptable? The second ingredient after water is corn syrup! I thought the idea here, especially in P1, was to eliminate most sugars. Help! What am I not understanding?

Wow. I am so impressed with the great advice.
CRK05 Thanks for the tip on the brown rice!
Schatzi- will try the link...thanks.
H-Ko one /week it is...had decided it would be fruit or maybe the steel cut oatmeal KO suggested, but a killer piece of facoccia came with my salad today and I eagerly nibbled half of it. Tasted like ambrosia. We will see where I am tomorrow...
Stephanie Phase 1.5 it is! If I gain, I may even go every other day.
Jammed morning tomorrow...cycling at 6 am and a mammo at 10...what an exciting life I lead!
Thanks, everyone!

stephie - moving is hard, no matter what way you look at it. Unfortunately. The #1 things that helped us were staying organized and making sure all boxes got labelled for where they were going. Oh, and having enough boxes is important! We ran short, and ended up going to a local grocery store to beg them for boxes. (Did get some, which was lucky!) Good luck to you!
