Question Headaches?

I am new to the Beach and I am having bad headaches. Did anyone else experience this in phase 1? Maybe from detoxing from all the bad carbs and stuff. Any thoughts?

Yeah... hugs to you.. I had the headache for about the first 4 days... I found that making sure I was keeping up my water intake really helped. Also, make sure that you are getting enough veggies... Some herbal teas to help with hydration and the headaches are chamomile and peppermint... I find them pretty helpful.

Your body is having a huge detox and should be feeling great pretty soon.

Stephanie, it's definitely the detox process. Many of us; myself included, experienced the headaches. They're a killer, but they WILL pass. Hang in there, hon!

Thanks for the input! I don't feel so odd now lol. I feel better today, but the day is still young. I am making sure to drink lots of water so hopefully that will help. I am so excited to be doing SB I can hardly stand it. I am so weird lol!

Welcome! I felt the same way for the first few days of phase 1. DH and I were both on it, and we really just bit each other's heads off for a few days! Poor DH! Poor DS, too - his mommy and daddy don't usually snap like that! It gets better though - a lot better, in fact. Now I don't even want most of that stuff any more, although I do miss some things once in a while.
