Question Quick question on tonight's dinner

Can anyone tell me, is coconut milk (lowfat) okay on ph2? I couldn't find it on either the okay or avoid lists. We're planning on curry for dinner (w/o chutney this time), but I almost always use coconut milk for the sauce.

Thanks!

As long as you use it in moderation, I believe it is okay.

I wasn't sure when I went to cook the curry, and they didn't have small cans at the store (I didn't feel like driving an extra few miles to the oriental grocery where I know they sell small cans), so I just used regular milk. Not nearly so good, but at least I knew it was OP.

It is considered a fat in the Guide. They don't list low fat but do say the regular is limited and a serving is 1 Tablespoon.

Thanks Ruth - so probably the low fat you could have a little more of it; I haven't compared the amounts of saturated fats between them, but I'll do so next time I'm shopping at the oriental grocery where I buy coconut milk (Filipino, actually, but near enough).
