I thought that I would intoduce myself on this board. My name is Marianna and I will be starting the SBD this weekend. I have PCOS and have some difficulties with insulin - so in the past I have used the GI index with some good results... I have managed to be a little off track since the birth of my daughter, well a lot off track actually
But I am confident that using the SBD book and these support threads will see me back on track in no time.. I have a backpacking trip in Cambodia coming up shortly and to drop a few kilos (I am an Aussie) before getting into the tropical heat will be much appreciated. I should be able to stick to phase 2 really well while away.
So my husband and I will be starting phase 1 on Saturday! I am not looking to lose weight too rapidly, but rather feel more in control of my eating, focus on organic whole foods and help minimse those carb cravings that I get....
