Congratulations on the weightloss, Shequila!

There are lots of things you can eat besides eggs and salad! There are several posts in this forum on those topics, and great recipes in the recipe forum for more ideas. Try eating leftovers for breakfast and lunch of the dinner from the day before. Yum!

WTG. I knew that, being patient, would be successful. I get a little down once in a while, too, especially when I am following the plan perfectly and then gain.

I had a bad week last week, but when I weighed this morning, I was down 2.6 pounds.

Have a great week. Take care.

Great job Peggy. That's great. I know what you mean about following the plan exactly...it can get boring after a while, especially in phase1. I have been trying hard to find different things to eat to spice things up a little. So far so good.

Keep up the good work! Happy dieting!

Thank you for your kind words. I have found some great recipes here, and will certainly look for more. Leftovers are a great idea. I usually end up eating the leftover chicken or steak on my salads.

Hi Kikilai...congratulations on starting SB. Once you get further along into Phase 1 you will find it's so easy. I think it's a great diet to be on. I am rarely hungry and if I am it's because I have gone too long without food. I just started my 4th week and have lost 9.5lbs and down a size. I definitely finding myself more organized grocery shopping and planning out meals. Also spending more each time I shop, but that's ok it's because I am buying better foods.

What made you decide to start the SBD? How have you found the last 2 days to be? If you can definitely stick it out thourgh Phase 1, you'll find it worth it. This site is a great reference for me. The recipes are for the most part wonderful and the people are so great at keeping motivation going. And don't be afraid to ask any question on the boards...pretty much anything goes.

My boyfriend is also doing it with me which makes it easier...especially come meal time. though he eats more fish and seafood than I do. I am allergic. but the rest of the meals we can both eat.

Glad your on the beach! The water and sand it just right!
Good Luck!
Sheila

Hi Sheila, thanks for the encouragement! [9.5lbs and down a size]
- It sounds like you're rocking!

[I definitely finding myself more organized grocery shopping and planning out meals. Also spending more each time I shop, but that's ok it's because I am buying better foods.]
- Do you make detailed shopping lists? I was bringing the book to the store.

- the diet sounds sensible and my friend is doing WW i can't imagine counting points, but she lost 21 lbs! So I hope some good momentum from loss in Phase 1 will get me encouraged to stick with it down to my goal, i'm a little lacking energy, which I wasn't expecting.

- thanks so much for the cheering on!
