Cool New to SB and 3FC

Hello,
This is my first time on a message board, so bear with me.
This is my second time trying the SBD. The first time was a couple of weeks ago and I was in my 11th day and then I got the stomach flu and could not eat for a couple of days and when I did feel like eating again I went back to bread. So this is my second day of Phase 1. I want to lose at least 50 lbs and just feel good and have energy. I am a stay at home mom of a 3 year old boy and also babysit 2 year old twins part time. Love gardening, cooking and reading. The first time I went on the diet I followed the diet exactly, but was not really crazy about alot of the recipes. This time I am not following the meal plans. Sometimes I am not sure what to eat. I have been living off crackers, sandwiches, pasta etc. for so long (Major carb addict!) that I find it hard to come up with meal and snack ideas.
Looking forward to ideas on this site and meeting fellow SB Dieters.
P.S. How do you post a message with a quote attatched?

Do you mean like that? If so, at the bottom of each message is a box that says, "Reply with quote". Hit it.
If not... what do you mean?

Have you checked out the FAQ and Recipe sections here? There's lots of great info.

Default Quotes

Hi there,
I mean people have some of their favourite quotes underneath their messages. I think you have Supreme Court and Thomas Jefferson.
Thanks

On the purple bar near the top of the page click on "User CP" then on the left click "edit signature" and type what you want!

Welcome to The Beach, Tracy. It's nice to see another Ontario chick, even if you are in the "banana belt"!
When you put in your signature, remember to save the changes!

Welcome, Tracy! I'm still learning how to use my computer, let alone trying to make my posts look nice. I can't figure out how to use the smilies!! My poor daughter knows she'll usually be asked to show me how to do something new every time she visits.
Good luck with the diet, it's not too hard to stick to, and you'll find lots of friends here.

Wink Loving it so far

I am loving it so far and I think checking everyday will make a difference on helping me stick to it. The one thing I can figure out is the smilies. The rest is japanese.

Hello Tracy,
I'm not on the SBD, but Im new to 3FC. I have a hard time with all the ins and outs too, we'll get the hang of it! You're right, checking in will help, plus you get ALOT of encouragement ! Good Luck!
