I woke up thinking I was getting a cold but coffee, a Dristan and some wonderful strawberries fixed that! I don't buy Mexican produce because I know they spray the heck out of everything but these strawberries are from CA and were just wonderful! They even smelled like strawberries.

Ellis, when does your new tenant move in? Have you anything else to do to the apartment? And what's this about Bridge Mix!!!!!!

Sflake, I'm so glad you are back. This instant parenthood must be quite an experience. The wee lad must really be hurting but I'm sure you and yours will help him so much.

Little Chick, so glad you enjoyed the dance show. Isn't it great when our kids make us proud! Funny that we both discovered low carb bread the same day. I will have to check my bill re the cost - I think it was over $3 a loaf! There were Atkins bagels too but they seemed to be higher fat.

Dynagirl, how did dinner go? Was it a restaurant meal or at your friends' home?

Bamiegirl - thanks for the prayers about my finger. It's such a silly thing but really gets in my way. I looked at it this morning and think the nail will stay but it does have a big flap of nail just hanging there. TMI - sorry! The bandage is back on for the day and I'll be wearing a surgical glove when I need to get my hands wet.

Lizzie - "We have got keep ourselves OP for our big meeting in July, but if we don't we'll just have a group hug anyway." You are darn right! Let's hope we are all a few pounds lighter by then but we are meeting even if we are heavier! I think we should have lunch here and invite as many folks as can make it. By then Ellis and Mauvais will have figured out where Delta is and i can always pick you up at The Bridge.

Jennie, thanks for the Wonder Woman info. I wish I'd kept all the WW comic book I had back in 1949! I loved comics but had no idea they'd be valuable one day. My son still brings up the fact that I threw out a huge box of his hockey cards!

Skipped Church this morning because I felt crappy and now I'm going to work off my guilt by doing the pre-Gail tidying today instead of in a big rush tomorrow morning. I want to start some seeds today too. I found Genovese Basil seeds yesterday - the best kind - and want to grow some for pesto in March! I just can't wait for my own garden stuff and am too cheap to buy fresh basil. I am also starting mesclun mix and parsley. By the way, I have a grow-table with lights.

By the way, Lucy is still not in heat! Anybody got any sites for doggie porn to inspire her?

Big Sunday morning wave and a coffee to anyone I've missed. I'm off for a bath and then will tackle my list!

Y'all have a nice group here...
DH has just awakened... and I think I'll fix us a bit of breakfast and tea or coffee. Now snow here... just sunshine... probably to chap the weather forecasters who all predicted cold and rain. Mother Nature has a few surprises, doesn't she?

Sflake... I am so impressed with your generosity to nephew.... All of us need to learn that trustworthiness does happen as much as cr*p... and you are obviously intending to let the little guy figure that out. (Don't know how little he is... but his constant chattering is probably a way of making sure that you are still there for him... and not falling in a bottle somewhere, or running off with somebody that he can't compete with.) And, I never learned as much from anyone as I learned from my kids... when I listened!

OK. Off to appropriate food.

hey ladies! I went to the gym today to take a cardio kickboxing class. Now, mind you, I have done kickboxing workout tapes before , but this class...OH MY GOD, it kicked my butt! I only lasted 20 of the 60 minutes, and I had to stop. Now granted I have only been working out for 2 weeks now so I think that maybe I just wasn't ready for it! I have a kickboxing workout tape, so I think I'll do that a couple times a week for a month and then try that class again. Man I hurt...maybe 2 months.
Then I come home and am getting dressed and my DH says "honey when you do weight machines you favor your right arm don't you." And I was like "I don't know probably" and he was like "well, you should switch to free weights" and I said "how do you know that I favor it?" And his response was "I can tell you favor your right arm because your right boob has gotten smaller than your left." ........
I am officially a circus freak. <insert scary circus music here>
I mean my left boob was always a tiny bit bigger (as is with most women) but the difference was miniscule. Well, the difference is no longer miniscule!

Hi Everyone! I tried to post and something went wacky so here we go again

It's been nice here all weekend in the 60's so DH and I worked in the yard raking all day yesterday and part of today. So I guess theat counts as exercise!

Jenie527 - you crack me up! You are not a circus freak!

Hope everyone has a great evening! I'll be glued to the tube at 8 tonight. Last episode of Sex in the City....

Hi chickies just checking in on sunday night before I head off to bed. I am fighting a terrible cold again. This is my season. Again I ate terrible all week-end. When will I ever stop. Tried my low carb bread and it was not to bad. Although I really don't miss it. Now if I could just say that about chocolate. Have a good night ladies.
