I'm thinking pork chops, baked potato, and boiled broccoli & cauliflower. I've got a huge pork loin that's about to go bad.

Note to self: I have GOT to get an ounce scale to measure my servings, especially meats. I don't know exactly how to visualize 6 oz. of pork but something tells me it isn't anything substantial...

They say 3oz of meat is the size of a deck of cards... so 6oz would be two decks

Hello! Thanks for keeping this thread going, RiverGirl (and hello to everyone; I've been on and off, and back and forth, but have been on SB again for a few weeks and hope the summer will give me a good start.)

I'm veggie-challenged, one of the reasons I'm attracted to South Beach, and the main reason I keep falling off the plan.

Tonight: chicken salad (green onions, celery, a few broccoli buds along with the mayo and chicken) on Romaine lettuce leaves; watermelon chunks; iced tea.

Tonight will be a lemon and thyme salmon burger (from Whole Foods; just the "burger," no bun) with steamed asparagus.

Another salmon burger from Whole Foods, one new to me (and delicious) Salmon with mushrooms, asparagus...and truffles! Steamed spinach on the side.
