Good morning!

I woke up super early so let the dogs out and did a few chores then went back to bed. Now it's time to go to work. There's a Hershey tournament in town so it should be busy.

Enjoy your day everyone!

Good rainy morning! I am thinking it is almost time to build an ark: we are in for 2 days of downpour.

Cyndi, our high is also predicted to be around 60* and I am going to be using the oven too. Right now I have lots of yellow summer squash coming but no zucchini; I may try hand pollinating when the rain stops.

Ruth
, every so often I also get the "urge to purge" but some of the other residents of this house do not cooperate. Enjoy your rainy sewing day.

Cottage, have a great time with your family.

Debbie, may your day be smooth and the tips plentiful!

After I put a batch of protein cheesecakes in the oven I may spend some time with a book. Have a good day, chicks!

Good lazy morning. Rain equals sleepy dogs which meant I stayed in bed until 9!!!! Ok so I didn't fall asleep until after 2:30 and woke twice because of all the water I drink. At least I was able to sleep in.

Linda enjoy today. Thinking of you.

Ruth my Keurig makes me happy too.....very happy I was left one by the previous Capt. Cleaned it up and now have yummy coffee at work too.

Debbie hope you took it easy.

Pearlrose what a wonderful surprise!!!!

Cyndi enjoy your company

Sandy we all need some me time. Hope you enjoyed yours

Rainy here too. Going to Joe's later. With my new hours and him building the house our time together is really limited. I'll have dinner with him and his DS but drive back tonight. Tomorrow will be my get it done day befor the work week begins again.

My ex called me last night with some bad news. Our former brother in law (his sister's ex husband) was killed in a motorcycle accident in NC. He was always nice to me. I feel badly for their 3 kids. The oldest was estranged from his dad for many years. He was only 46 much too young. We think his family will insist on the services being in NY. If they are I will pay my respects. I really liked him and his family, lol sometimes more than my inlaws.

Time for a second load of laundry and more coffee

Good morning,

I slept in a bit this morning, felt good. Still have quiet time in the house to myself this morning. It is sunny right now but we are supposed to get rain again today at some point.

Yesterday ended up going shopping for DD2 birthday parties items, that is what she wanted to do.

Not sure what is on the agenda for today.

Have a wonderful day everyone!

So I know I weighed a day early (tomorrow is weigh-in) but I couldn't help myself..... 130.5, down 5 lbs. I haven't seen 130 since last fall, and am down 10 lbs in 2015. It's not a gigantic accomplishment and I still have a ways to go, but it was just kind of a big mile-marker for me.... You know how there's that one weight you just can't seem to get past, sometimes? I finally pushed through. It's definitely harder with age.

I just want to thank you girls for always being here for me! Only 15 more lbs to go!!!

Lisa

Lisa, congratulations! The first day of the month is when I weigh in because the last day of the month sometimes results in a slight loss if I stick to plan.

Lol I'm with you Ruth! Congratulations Lisa awesome job!!! I know I have a self sabotage number as I call it. I stayed under goal for quite sometime. Now I'm struggling just to get back to goal. Your success is motivating me not to let myself get in the way of my own progress. That and my favorite uniform pants are way too tight to wear right now lol

I still try to weigh in on Mondays no matter what but couldn't help myself today. You know how sometimes your body just feels like you've lost weight? That's how I woke up today.

And I was at goal (better than goal) for about a year and a half.... Until Chris and I started dating. Went from SBD daily and seldom eating out, to being with an Italian man that can cook and had the metabolism of a 4 year old on crack. Gained 24 lbs the first year we were together and have been yoyoing since. I'm currently 18 lbs heavier than I was in September 2009, and really just want to get back into my old clothes again. Sigh.
