It's time for a new week of talking On-Plan! This is the place for South Beach meal plan and food support, encouragement and questions.
Anyone, from any phase (1, 1.5, 2, 3, etc.) can post, and those who are new to 3FC are especially encouraged to do so!
This thread is for questions, sharing advice and strategies, and encouraging each other to stay on plan. It is not for chatting about daily life unrelated to this topic. Members have indicated that they would like to have chatting remain in the Daily Thread, so any posts that are off topic or chatty will be moved by the mods to the Daily.
People in different phases of South Beach post here so it will help everyone if you indicate what phase you're in when you post. Thanks!
While you may certainly find, from time to time, the need to ask for help after going off plan, remember that this thread is about staying on plan. When you share details of off plan foods you've eaten, it can upset, tempt, and otherwise frustrate other members, so please keep these details to a minimum.
So, share with us: How are you staying on plan this week?
How's it going for you?
Of course feel free to share your daily on plan menu...
Not a good week for me last week, but I figure when your sick you have got to take care of yourself first & worry about 'dieting' second.
Now on to a new (and better) week.
I'm going to have a Phase 1 day in prep for starting a real Phase 1 on Monday.
B: cucumber slices, cream cheese, ham
L: 1/3 cup madras lentils, grilled chicken, red pepper
D: oven friend zuccini (I made this last night and it was so good!), plain greek yogurt
Snacks will be a cheese stick and some pistachio nuts
ETA: was very hungry in the afternoon and had an additional snack of 1/2 a yellow pepper with light cream cheese and some almonds.
Hi Ladies - moving towards a Phase 1 starting on Monday. There is some flour in the dinner recipe - next week I would sub arrowroot.
B: 1 cup kefir, cucumber rounds with lf cream cheese and ham
L: grilled chicken over arugula with avocado, parmesan cheese, and olive oil
S: lf latte and nuts
S: roasted chick peas and vino (summer friday tomorrow)
D: ham, swiss and broccoli roll ups

Hi! I hope you recovered OK!
I've been really sick too, some kind of infection and it has made me really weird about what foods I can eat. This has been going on for a few weeks.
I haven't been posting here because I have had some odd choices of what and when to eat, but I am happy to say that I got myself basically back on plan with my foods!
I have been relying on frozen meals (healthy on-plan ones like quinoa/chard/butternut squash/black bean and veggie/tofu/brown rice), some fruit (mostly red grapes, berries and grapefruit), nuts, baked tofu, yogurt, beans, fresh tomatoes and whatever salads I can stomach. Also I have had some "Beanitos" chips made from white beans and whole grain rice. I have had some orange juice, but diluted with a LOT of seltzer water, and I have been drinking lots of different teas with unsweetened almond milk. Aaaaaand I have occasional pieces of dark chocolate.
I'm proud of myself for keeping roughly on plan through this illness. I gave myself permission to eat "whatever sounds good" - but what sounds good recently is nutritious, on-plan foods. I have lost a few pounds simply because I can't eat much ... but it is definitely not a healthy weight loss strategy I am just trying to keep my nutrients way up even with less food!
Carry on, On-Plan folks I will live vicariously through your normal menus
