veggies with hummus (I realllllly like the pine nut one) is my fav. triscuits, cheese sticks, apple or other fruit, leftover whatever, unflavored yogurt flavored with whatever I feel like at that moment .
green bean fries, sweet potatoes - I have both pretty much daily. Oh, cheese. Sometimes fruit but I do best when I eat that late in the day. I can't keep crackers in the house.
I don't do good at eating beans with my meal but I love some refried beans topped with a little colby jack cheese as a snack. But those would be safe for any phase so I didn't help. I also like to use berries and make a smoothie with my greek yogurt.
I love a cup of Greek yogurt or a 1/2 cup of whipped low-fat cottage cheese with 7 walnut halves and (if it is a morning snack) 1/4 cup of blueberries or a sliced kiwi. Yum.
By the way, TwynnB, the day I can have a box of Triscuits in my house and know that I will be able to limit my portion size will be a day of great celebration for me! ;-)
My go-to snack is usually plain nonfat Greek yogurt mixed w/ a tablespoon of natural peanut butter and some Splenda. If I want something a little sweeter I'll top it w/ sugar-free chocolate syrup.
