    Breakfast - Yogurt & Coffee
    Snack - Apple
    Lunch - Spinach salad with feta, mandarin orange, bell peppers and balsamic dressing.
    Snack - cheese and deli meat.
    Dinner - I plan to make Spinach Feta Strawberry and Pecan salad with Raspberry Vinaigrette dressing and a haddock filet.

    s - swedish meatballs, over shirtake noodles Thanks MissT I was going to make meatballs in tomato sauce, but this is great, broccoli and salad .

  • I made the swedish meatballs, they were good but not Ikea's. I think next time I will use half pork and half beef. Also the sauce was just too thin, it needs thickening with something, maybe arrowroot.

  • I never made them! I ended up eating alone so I just cooked some tilapia instead. I'm going to try them tomorrow though so I'll let you know. I've never used arrowroot; maybe I'll pick some up tomorrow so I can give that a try.

    B- egg whites, 1 slice multigrain toast, laughing cow spread, coffee with almond milk, orange

    L-smart ones spinach alfredo, 2 cups green beans, cucumbers
    Snack- banana, handful almonds
    D- 2 California rolls, side salad with balsamic
    Snack popcorn and weight watchers popscicle

    L: Roasted cauliflower soup, WATER
    D: Swedish meatballs, steamed broccoli and baby carrots, WATER
    S: Chia fresca, cantaloupe

    My goal today is to drink lots of water!!

    s - omelette with mushroom, green pepper and ham

    drink lots of water and maybe a walk but in the mall because of freezing rain.

    L: pesto Kashi meal

    hey JonJax what phase of south beach are you on? smart ones are not really allowed on any phase of south beach because of the white flour in the noodles -- among other reasons, and popcorn is a very limited snack. just make sure that you let us know which phase you're on so that others, who are using this thread as a way of listing ON plan menus will not get led astray. Thanks!

    B. overnight steel cut oats in US almond milk with fresh berries
    L. Mobrey goat cheese on Endurance Crackers, small salad sans dressing
    S. spoonful of peanut butter
    S. Greek yogurt
    D. soup of some sort, possible Pumpkin Black Bean Chili, more salad

    B: Black tea with skim milk
    Oatmeal, peanut butter, skim milk, cocoa, stevia, cinnamon, 1/2 banana
    L: Grilled Chicken Salad
    S: Apple
    D:Roast Beef, cauliflower, cabbage, 1 tsp sour cream, black tea
    LOTS of water
    Ran for 20 minutes (not much, but better than nothing! )
  • Sophie, I made those Swedish meatballs tonight. My hb and I liked them! I did have to thicken the sauce, but it had a lot of flavor. I added some stock, too, since a lot of mine cooked away, and a lot more fresh parsley. I have to admit too I used 85% ground beef. And also regular cream cheese! lol There's only about .5oz cheese per serving, so the recipe still seemed pretty light. Anyway, nothing fancy but easy, different and CHEAP. We'll probably have it again.
