Debbie - My poor son thinks he does not photograph well and, sadly, he is right. He can't fake a smile to save his life. I have warned the gal who will do his senior photos! So I just kept clicking away. I'll try to attach one below.

Rikki - I couldn't view it either

Good Thursday ladies!

One more day until Friday, glorious Friday.

Did fairly well eating out with my friend yesterday, a little higher fat then is allowed but made sure to order fish and veggies. Was tremendously hot here yesterday! For future reference, I am a wuss when it comes to heat, 95 is REALLY hot to me. Hoping today will be a little cooler. Think I'll exercise in my room tonight with my window A/C running, maybe that'll help me keep up my endurance.

Kind of did the same as Debbie this morn; let the dogs out in the backyard and I went and picked some of our cherry tomatoes! Yum! Cherry tomatoes, asparagus and hard boiled eggs drizzled with EVOO, salt and pepper! MMMMMMMmmmmm!

I'm really proud of myself for keeping to the diet so far, my BF of almost 4 years and I officially went long distance this last weekend for the next 5 months and I am an emotional eater so I thought it would affect my diet but it turns out it is giving me something to put my energy into. Very thankful for that!

Have a good day ladies and stay cool!

Well, Thursday is turning out to be the best day of the week for me. Lots of last minute details to get DS ready for school next week and trip to Chicago tomorrow with his dad. Went looking at used car lots last night for DH. We don't know if we should replace the engine on his car or buy another used one. I'm on vacation this week but had to go in to work today to train for 2 hours on another computer program that starts in October. Not only did we go live with computer documentation last week, but now have to start a new program for recording patient medication and allergies soon. Very overwhelming! I will be helping to train all staff in the hospital in a computer lab. And I don't like talking in front of groups of people! I would rather be a bedside caregiver.

Debbie, I wish I could have some of your tomatoes! I love to roast them with other veggies and can eat a pint of them every few days. I really need to grow my own.

Schmoodle, good luck in your new job. I can't imagine how stressful changing jobs must be. I have been at the same hospital for over 35 years.

Karen, your son is very handsome! I remember my kids getting their senior portraits done.

Hope to go back to the State Fair this weekend. I have one more free admission ticket.

Kierie
Pearlrose Hate it when I lose my post!!!
Sally, I hope you're having a better day! Interesting, your DH is a brewer.
Karen, I think it's a very nice picture!!
BritMW, what kind of dogs do you have? Your salad sounds yummy! There are others who have found that staying OP is a good thing to put energy into when times are rough.

Xan,

I'm finally sitting after getting everything done for the day....Crack Slaw tonight...haven't done that for awhile but I have a beautiful local cabbage. Guess I'll scan the boards for awhile.

Lexxiss - The dogs are technically my moms, I live at her house still (not much longer), but we consider them all our "babies". LoL.
We have a Dauschund/ Yorkie mix, Eidy (eeeeee-deeee) and a terrier of some sort, not sure, Lana . I <3 them. Having them around definitely forces me to exercise, they need their walks!

Anne, glad your day was better! My DH loves growing cherry tomatoes! You should try next year. He's picked 500 in 2 days in a 6x12 patch.

Brit, cute pups!
