Happy Easter, everyone, can I join you? I'm starting SBD again today, on phase 2. I'm 37, and was recently diagnosed as bipolar, and put on meds. They work well, and I feel like I'm more in control of my life, but they make weight loss very difficult. I've also got prediabetes. I've tried all kinds of diets, most recently high carb vegetarian. I think I need to change the way I eat, cut the huge amounts of fruits and simple starches I eat, and eat more protein. Previously, I've always started on phase 1 and it never stuck, it was too drastic. Although I'm all ready exercising vigorously 3 times a week, I know I have to step it up, my goal is to lose 25 pounds, and, I really don't care how long it takes, as long as it stays off. What else? I'm a blind jazz singer, I have a daughter, five cats, and 2 dogs who need to lose weight too. Thanks for letting me share, and it's nice to meet you all.
