Karen, I'm so sorry your son's ankle isn't doing well. I hope it heals quickly and he can get back on the court/field soon. Yay for 10 weeks! That's huge!

Jenn, hope the class is decent this time around. It's a new one, right?

Jenny, I'm so excited your commercial shoot went well! We don't get commercials here, so you'll have to post a link if it's on youtube or something like that!

I am hiding in the corner of the living room because my children are driving me crazy. They are all whining and moaning and I cannot take it any more. I don't know why they think I want to listen to that. I don't. I just made that abundantly clear...at quite a loud volume. And then I went upstairs and cleaned and now I am feeling a little better. When I came back down, Connor apologized for his attitude, so that was nice at least. I think it might be an early bedtime day, though, because I'd rather put them in bed than snap again.

Good Morning Ladies

Cottage - We really need some recluttering done here, but I think I'd rather just get around to it in the next few years than go through what you have... been there, done that... although we were very fortunate that we haven't rennovated the basement (yet) and nothing of any importance was lost. My fingers are crossed for a good resolution with the insurance company.

Cyndi - Enjoy your quiet start to the week.

Heidi - Have a safe and fun trip to Portland.

Ruth - A light workout sounds like a great idea.... don't overdue it or you may end up missing more.

Lauren - Sounds like you are well organized and ready for the week... As for the bug... well... you may have heard me scream from here and then I would have scurred from the room so DH could "take care of it".

Mmc - It's over and done with.... get back OP this morning and that water weight will be gone in no time.

Debbie - I *love* to ski, but at my current weight that's just not going to happen. One of my goals is to lose enough weight before next ski season that I can go.... we're only about 30-45 minutes from some awesome skiing here. Were you able to get out and do it at your high weight or is that something you've just been able to do again now with the great weight loss you've had?

Twynn - Sometimes it just takes giving them "the look".

Kara - Definitely ignore the scale... If I could weight what I do now and fit into my size 8/10 clothes I'd be one happy girl.

Karen - Congrats on 10 days OP!

Jenn - Energy is on Monday morning is nothing short of a miracle as far as I'm concerned.

Obsessed - Guess your body needed sleep more than Oscars...

Jenny - AWESOME weight loss... good for you!

I'm a happy girl this morning... Monday = weigh day and I'm down 2.5 pounds... that's actually the pound I was up last week plus 1.5 more.

Good day, chickies!

Roommates kiddos woke me up at 6:45 this morning! NOT. COOL. Had a late night, bad dreams... bah.

On a positive note... another resume went out today. A part time position at Catholic Charities doing Emergency Services. I have done this before through an internship while I was in college so I'm hopeful to at least get an interview.

Ended up making 4 batches of the Sausage and Egg (and veggies) breakfast cups yesterday. Only had ONE 6 muffin pan. As you can imagine, it took me a while. LOL But I froze them for future lazy mornings or days where I just don't have time to cook.

Did a lot of organizing and going through piles of paperwork... skipped the walk so today is a must.

Day 5 Phase 1 - still OP and only one slight craving due to a diet coke. for some reason I can drink clear diets but if I have that cola I crave. Funny that caffienated coffee doesn't make me crave. Huh.

Saturday mornin my sweetie will be in from Denver! I'm so excited!!!! I'll have to post a pic of our smilin faces sayin "Hi" to the beachers.

I'm thinking a lil nap, then lunch, walk and FINALLY getting to those underwire bras since I ended up finding my needles and thread in all the piles of paperwork yesterday.

Have a beautiful day!

YES! and I just hope the professor lives up to the class because it seems REALLY interesting. It's on political leadership and identifying unique leadership skills and strengths. It also asks the student to focus in on what it is we want to change. Seems really interesting! I am excited. I should go check and see what my final grade was in the other class [from ****]. The system was down all week and I couldn't tell. Stay strong - this is another reason I am kids free Kara!

Hey Chicks
Swamplicious so no time for personals!
Day 1 Ph 1
so far so good no crazy blood sugar swings and no sweets cravings!
I have a veggie burger for part of my lunch I think it's legal but its only 95 calories and 15 grams of protein so whatever it is I'm eating it!
Hoping to get some cardioke in after work just trying to shovel out from the Monday workpile!

Morning Ladies

It has been a busy one with posting resumes and making calls. Then I've got to go get groceries after I post since my fridge is almost barren. So just a flyby today to say "Hi" to all of you.

Good afternoon ladies!

Jenn - Spring semester? When do you see the next doc?

Okie - I have taken to chewing gum to keep from falling asleep in front of the TV. Of course I don't keep the same hours you do!

JennyP - Woo hoo! LOL - I used to say that birthday calories didn't count too

Kara - In all my time on here this may be the first mention of your kids driving you crazy! I had pictured you as a decluttering, cleaning, exercising, cape-wearing supermom

1oftheLuvs - Good for you

Kari - Real kiddos or pet kiddos? Good luck with the resume. You sound busy today.

KO - "swamplicious" - love it!

Sue - Hi to you too.

DH and I cycled and yoga'd and Target shopped and stopped by the library. Busy morning. I may finally get to the mall to return some mail-order stuff when he gets on the treadmill later. He does 90 minutes daily now (despite working out with me earlier) and blasts the TV which my computer is still temporary next to. Lots of little things to do before vacation.

Karen - I've got 2 classes (6 weeks, two off) from Jan-May, then 2 weeks off and another two classes (same set up) in the summer, 2 weeks off then another 2 classes before 3-4 weeks off for Dec. This is only my second semester and 4th class in the masters program.

I go at the end of March. Good times. Thanks for asking!

Good evening all,
Yikes what a day. The mailman brought us a bill for a paid highway which we haven't used in 5 years. Hubby was beside himself. So off we drove, which took over 45 minutes to the office. We haven't had a transponder for 5 years and it looks like it was a charge from then except they forgot to send us a bill and the interest kept adding on. So I guess computers are a blessing because it showed we had no invoice and gave our transponder in.
Took quite a while to clear all this mess up.
Debbie - good for you getting back to skiing. I use to love skiing maybe I will get some snowshoes for next year.
Kara - I loved Karen's comment about you being a super mom. My daughter is complaining about her 2 1/2 year old. Says he thinks he has free willpower. I just smile and think what goes around comes around.
Everyone else good night.
take care
Sophie

Hi Everyone,

It was a wild and crazy day at work. One of the things that is actually in my job description is that I have to perform fire drills. It got up to 75 degrees today, so it was a perfect day for one. I grabbed my little ding-ding bell and ran through the building yelling, "FIRE FIRE FIRE!" I scared my supervisor to death. We enjoyed standing in the sunshine for 10 minutes.

Auston is feeling better, but is still not 100%. His grandmother offered him ice cream for dessert. He said no. That never happens.

Kara, I feel you! I've called his grandmother and said, "Auston is COMING TO VISIT YOU!" She always says yes. Hopefully, tomorrow everyone will be happy!
