Default Topical Thursday: Have at it!

Welcome Ladies and Gents! I love SBD. The only thing bugging me is the fact that I haven't felt like exercising although my energy level is up. The snow hasn't helped lol. I had beans yesterday for the first time in 2 or 3 days and it was divine! I love scrambled eggs. I'm pleased with my results so far but I'm dying to get under 300. I will be there by the end of this month, so no worries.

Hi you two....I think you're both up way too late, and I'm way too early. Won't everyone be suprised when they start popping in. I'm glad to hear that both of you have been doing so great with eating. Me, pretty good, too. I had a clean day yesterday

Okie, I think the exercise is hard with all your snow. I am finding ways to move around in the house. I have a little routine I do while watching TV. You are very close to that 299, with your dedication you'll be there soon!

Rikki, I'm glad you had a good trip to Vegas and I'm thinking you're taking off again soon. Have a great day-are you going to sleep or just blast on through?

Me, went to bed super early since I wasn't motivated to do anything on my list. A little coffee here helped and I'm plugging through what I need to do to be ready for my trip tomorrow.

I'll see everyone else later...coffee is in the thermos this morning it'll stay hot for everyone-unless I drink it first!

Good morning

Debbie - I sure hope you saved some coffee. I really need it this morning!

OKie - You are so close, you're going to stop seeing that 3 in no time! Walk whenever you can, even around the house. My Mom is always walking around her upstairs when we talk at night because her treadmill is in the cold first floor and she can't use it this time of year. How about some walking in place during your soap? Sounds silly but you'd be surprised how many steps you can get in that way!

Rikki - Funny, I just saw your posts on facebook and was thinking I missed you around here Good to see you getting back on track before the next vacation.

It's too early to have much to say. Haven't even had a sip of coffee yet. I'll be back

Good morning chicks!

Okie - you crack me up! I almost couldn't exercise in phase I....esp. week I. Then, when I finally started working out later, I was stunned at how my stamina and increased by diet alone!!! Try it! You might be surprised!

Rikki - ahhhhhh. To live vicariously through you. I think with your crazy life right now, it would be tough to stay on plan, no? Glad to have you pop in here!

Debbie - yes, dear...you are up to early! Is this after years of getting up early? Hope getting ready goes uneventfully!

Cyndi - is that coffee sliding down well?

Me - for being a snow day, yesterday kicked my butt, since I still went to work! I'm curious if the kids will have delayed start to school...b/c the roads might be trashed still (oops: icy). I'm not sure I'll be too busy, not many will want to come out with the roads if they hadn't already planned to. Yesterday I did stay on plan, kinda. I need to throw away my dark chocolate though!!

Have a great one!

Heidi - have fun!

PS - yes....2 hour delay....yeah...I don't have to get on the treadmill quite so fast!!

Okie, I can't believe the success you're having with this way of eating. You are doing fantastic and will be in the 200s in no time flat. Keep up the great work!

Rikki, GO TO BED!

Debbie, good luck with your preparations and have a fantastic trip!

Cyndi, I hope your coffee was divine and that you have a wonderful day!

Heidi, enjoy your 100th day of school! What kind of activities did you do?

Tammy, I haven't bought chocolate in a long time because I just can't have it in the house. Part of my wagon episode on Sunday, though, involved chocolate (at the store). Um...at least I didn't bring it home?

I just heard that the schools on base are being released early today because of the snow, so that means Cub Scouts and martial arts are cancelled for this evening. I a teeny bit glad because now we don't have to rush, rush, rush this afternoon but I was going to stop at the BX while Connor was at Cub Scouts and pick up an iPod touch for Tom for Valentines Day-slash-his birthday. He's been wanting one so bad and he's going to Korea for three weeks early next month, so he'll get some good use out of it then. Funny story... He got his BA back in 2001 but his supervisors have been bugging him about finishing the last two classes to get his AA. (I know, it's backwards but you have to remember that this is the military here. Apparently, having an AA counts for some kind of points for promotion boards or something.) So, he took a math class while he was deployed and just the other day he found out that he passed his Speech test, so now he has his AA. It's been a huge joke for us, since he already has the BA, so I'm going to get him a case for the iPod touch and wrap it up as a graduation gift and give it to him first, before the actual iPod! He'll get a kick out of that!

I got my normal cleaning (dust, sweep, and mop the living room, dining room, and kitchen) done and I'm about to go start the upstairs bathroom decluttering/deep cleaning mission. Tom will be home in about an hour, so I'm going to "race" him to try to finish before he gets back.

Hi All-hope you found the coffee, I laid back down for a bit.

Cyndi, see you in a bit! Since I checked your menu already; Raw Sweet Potato Fries

Heidi, have fun on your 100th day!

Twynn, I suppose I have some sort of insomnia, although Yogic philosophy says Cosmic energy is highest early in the AM. I'd prefer to think the latter, but since my schedule is so flexible (after many years of working from sunrise to sunset) I just go with the flow. I ought to move my treadmill to the tv room-probably still wouldn't use it!

Kara, I always enjoy your stories!

Hi all! Heidi, that is so funny about the 100th day. My son's 100th day is 2/22, after the winter break, and the teachers are making a HUGE deal out of it and I wasn't quite sure why! Must be the same all around the US though.

I was all ready for my whoosh so I weighed this morning, but there was no woosh...the scale even said I gained .4 pound. Since I am no longer doing decimals on my ticker I'm not bothering to change it, and I would feel really badly save for an NSV I had yesterday concerning a pair of jeans that I had decided would be my "goal" jeans - yesterday *just for kicks* I tried them on and while I wouldn't wear them out of the house, I was able to get them all the way up and zip them too without too bad of a muffin top. So that made me feel good.

Hello to everyone else - Kara I see you broke 140, congrats!! and hope everyone has a great day. The snow is done for us, but walking to school won't be a treat.

Good morning, all you chatty Early Birds! I hope Okie and Rikki made it to bed for at least a few hours' sleep! Are you in transit, Debbie, or have you made it to your destination? Cyndi, the coffee is yummy this morning, thanks for making it! Heidi, I hope it's lots of fun in your classroom today. Most of our kids celebrated 100 days last week. Audrey & Maggie were away, but they celebrated by skating 100 times around a frozen pond. Kara, that's an amusing story about Tom. I like that you're going to give him the ipod case first. Mmc, your big whoosh is coming soon. You're doing so well, hang in there!
Did I miss anyone?

Today is a big dig-out day. It finally stopped snowing around 11pm last night, but I was beginning to think it would never end. We got about 26" on top of the 23" we already had. Our power stayed on through it all, although it's flickering at times. Major roads had been closed but they're opening this morning, but all the schools and most other stuff is still closed. What a storm! And we just heard there's more snow expected for Monday.

Good morning. I read the title as Tropical and had to go and eat my orange! I hope those so-called "early birds" get some sleep.

Coffee is good this morning and I need it. Sorry no personals. My brain is not yet in gear. I just may take my coffee and soak in the tub to jump-start it. See y'all later.

Good morning!

Okie - It is so great that you are loving this WOL. I don't ever feel like exercising Just do it and you will be glad you did. I think Cyndi's idea about walking during your soap is a great one. Or do leg lifts or squats or...

Rikki - Missed seeing you around.

Debbie - You are up early! Hope all the trip prep goes smoothly. That recipe looks interesting. Have you made it before? Do they taste like the oven baked kind?

Cyndi - Good morning

Heidi - Happy 100th!

Twynn - My son (in PA) had no college classes yesterday but interestingly they leave it to the discretion of each instructor. Hmmm. Drive carefully!

Kara - That is a bit backwards but sounds worth the time of the two classes. I am sure he will enjoy your gift idea.

Mmc - on your NSV

Cottage - Wow! What a winter it has been.

Ruth - Enjoy your "bath."

I have breakfast cheesecakes in the oven today since it is a later start at the gym. My goal today is to add cardio at some point in addition to my yoga. Even if I can only motivate myself for 10 minutes. Take that darn scale!

BTW - I don't remember if I already wrote that I got my bargain-basement 3FC book from Amazon. Only read the intros so far. It still amazes me to see how huge something can be that starts with three dedicated women.

FO- You will be under 300 very soon.

RDW- Morning.

Debbie- Thanks for sharing the coffee. I need it this morning

Heide Happy 100 days

UGGGHHH The kids have candy in the house. I haven't touched any but I think I was tempted. I didn't crave it or thing about it after I walked away but when I walked in the room and saw it. I thought I want candy.

MMC that swoosh will come.

Morning Ruth a nice soak sounds great.

Cottage to me that seems like a lot of snow.

Karen- Have a great day. I think I will retry to the breakfast cheesecakes the one that I made didn't turn out so good.

I love having three day weekends but leading up to them really ummm "sucks" LOL I live and work on a military base. So three day weekends mean lots of people getting to travel and they ALL wait till the last minute to plan anything!! Yesterday was nuts and I am sure today and tomorrow will be even crazier!! Oh atleast most of the time it is fun craziness!

Have a good day

Morning! No one faint. Yes, it is I. I am a moozle. Popping in to check in since it's been awhile. I really need to get back to posting daily but I've found that the only time I have to post is late at night after everyone else is already done posting, so then I stop posting, then I stop checking, and then I'm MIA for a month or so.

Key West was fabulous! http://www.facebook.com/album.php?ai...7&l=efe64aadcc is the link to the pics from my trip, if you'd like to see them. Didn't get around to all the touristy sites that I'd hoped to get pictures of for those who've never been, but I got to a couple. Planning a trip back May 2011 if I can get Chris on a plane. Didn't know he was afraid of flying (he's never flown) until I took this trip. But, I won't go anywhere without him ever again. That was way too hard.

Anyhoozle, this moozle needs to go dry her hair. I'm training new people at work. No time to change my tickie but it's off a lb. 125 now. Hopefully I'll be able to squeeze in a Biggest Loser Wii workout tonight, but we'll see how I do today and what plans develop for tonight. Maybe Chris will want me to come over and watch Archer with him.

Have a great day girls! To those that I don't see regularly on FB, I miss ya's.
