Okie - You will be in the 200's before you know it.
Rikki - Glad you were able to pop in today.
Debbie - Hope you get everything ready for the trip.
Cyndi - Good morning enjoy your coffee
Heidi - I am not sure if we have celebrated the 100th day yet or not. I am just knee deep in filling out scholarships and financial aid for DS that I cannot keep track.
Twynn - Yeah 2 hour delay enjoy your extra time.
Kara - Great idea on giving Tom his gift. Tell him we said Congratulations.
Mmc - Isn't that great when you can put on a smaller pair of jeans even if you couldn't stay in them for too long.
Cottage - I heard Philadelphia got 70 inches of snow so far this winter is that crazy or what.
Ruth - Enjoy your quiet time this morning.
Karen- I need to make that breakfast cheesecake as well I said I was going to do this past weekend and didn't.
Tammy- Hang in there you are almost done.
Lisa- Great to see you on here. I hardly have time to post either just try when I can.
Last night got everything I wanted done, eating was fantastic and I felt great this morning but didn't get on the scale (mental sanity) and plugging along. Today just work and working out tonight. I have to fill out some more financial stuff - we are planning a visit to college on Monday.
I laid back down and got several hours sleep-not feeling very perky right now, I hope that passes.. I'm going to chair yoga today, then taking the doggies to Camp at my friends house about 330. Then we'll pack and be on the road tomorrow by 730.
Mmc-how was the movie?
Cottage, I won't even take my computer-it's only 3 days with scanty reception at best. I hope you get some warm weather to help melt the snow.
Ruth, hope your soak was nice. I'll soak at the pool today.
Karen, it's snowing. I'll try that recipe sometime-it did remind me, think I'll have an egg casserole for dinner.
Tammie, hope you get through your busy day with no hitches.
Lisa, I sure missed Key West when I saw all your pics.
Pearlrose, always nice to see you!
Bing needs a mini bath-maybe I'll try to fit that in.
Hello chicks. It's not snowing here. For a change. I heard about the snow on Monday, cottage, but I'm just not going to think about it now. I'll think about it tomorrow. And I'll never go hungry again! It's so windy, I'm not sure there's any point to shoveling, but I don't want to look like a slacker in front of the neighbors, so I'll get the kids out there to give me a hand in a bit and see what we can do.
My day has not started out great, as DD1 called and woke me at 6:45 to ask if I thought she should try to get in to work. I just remember mumbling "oh, for God's sake", and she got offended and hung up on me. Seriously, why call me? But then I was awake. Then got a long, rambling email from future ex-SIL, and need to take some time to think about how to respond to that one, or if I even should.
Wow, I sound grumpy! Ways to make my day better: Do an exercise video (I've been using Ph1 as an excuse not to exercise), clean my kitchen, build snow fort with kids, have a soak in the tub. There, I feel better already! Ever notice how making a list is almost like actually doing something, except not?
Mmckellen, I'm sorry that your whoosh is hiding. That is so not nice. Hopefully it'll come tomorrow!
Linda, your snow is just crazy! My parents sent a video of the dogs running around the back yard and it was hilarious! They are both big dogs (Golden Retriever and a Chocolate Lab) and they were having to hop around. My dad was mean and threw the ball out and the one dog tore off trying to find it. He had snow all over his snout! Hilarious!
Ruth, it must be a day for citrus. I just had the most delicious clementine, and we all had grapefruit for breakfast. Getting our Vitamin C in today!
Karen, have fun at the gym this morning. I did yoga today, too! Must be in the air!
Tammie, there is definitely a difference between mental and physical cravings. Unfortunately, South Beach can't do anything about us knowing that the junk tastes really good and wanting it just so we can enjoy that taste. Congrats on your victory over the candy! Now that you know you have done it once, you know you can do it again!!!
Lisa, it's good to see you in the chat! I absolutely love your captions on your photos. You are such a crack-up! I didn't realize that you had gone on the trip with your parents. Looks like everyone had a blast!
Rose, Tom says, "Thanks!" That was sweet of you to offer your congratulations!
Schmoo, I'm sorry about the stinky start to your day. When Tom proposed, we were in Seattle. I called my parents in New Jersey and it was the middle of the night there. They weren't very excited about the news and I was kind of a little offended. The next morning, they were much happier. Have fun building your snow fort!

Today is my Friday! WooHoo!!! Our forecast for tomorrow keeps changing. This morning, we were only supposed to get a 'dusting'. Now they are saying we're getting between 1-2 inches. (I know all you Blizzard Chickies are laughing at me. ) Anyway, things shut down around here for any snow. If Auston is out of school on my vacation day, I will not be happy! It's already arranged for him to go to Grandmother's house if school is out. I have got to get ready for a Mardi Gras party on Saturday! So far, 44 people have said "Yes." Oh my! At least if something doesn't get cleaned, there will be too many people standing around for anyone to see the dirt!
Schmoodle, If it makes you feel better, I'm not nice on the phone when people call me at crazy hours either.
Michelle, that is quite a party!!! I bet you guys are going to have a lot of fun!
Jenn, enjoy your coffee and Wii Fit. Just try not to do them simultaneously!
We just finished dinner. I made the eggplant "noodle" and zucchini "noodle" lasagna with roasted carrots and sauteed mushrooms, onions, and garlic. It was fantastic and everyone had at least seconds (Kadyn had fifths!). I served it over whole wheat penne pasta noodles and that was great. I think I only had maybe a quarter cup of noodles but it was the perfect texture to go with the veggies.
I got a hankering for some bean brownies but didn't realize until I was halfway through adding ingredients that I'm out of eggs, so I had to substitute some flax seed and water. They're going to be interesting this time around...
Tammie - hope your weekend is great despite all those last-minute planners.
Lisa - What is a moozle?
Rose - Okay... I cannot keep track of all this... visit to your child already in college or visit with child thinking about college or...?
Debbie - Thanks for the weather report I had a sub for yoga today and realized that I don't like all yoga. She was too slow for me. I guess my usual gal (usual being 5 weeks now) is more into strength and less into zen.
Schmoodle - I laughed at your DD calling you. It is odd which things will prompt my college son to call for advice and which don't. One day I got a text that simply said "flu shot is good, right?" I actually appreciated still being needed - but then again, he never wakes me up!
Kara - I thought of you today... I did a bit of decluttering in my pantry Must be contagious.
Jenn - I HATE when the won't just give results on the phone. Fingers crossed for you longer now.
Cyndi - I am not a coffee drinker but I am squeezing my legs together just thinking about combining that with exercise. Know what I mean I am going to try not to think about this when I get on the treadmill soon. Power of suggestion.
I'm bad at contributing to the daily thread - this is the first time I'm doing it - but I try to always read. I just wanted to say that I went to Yoga today for the first time in nearly a year. It was intense, but awesome, and I'm glad I did it.
