Thriller is for MJ. Eating good will take care of cravings. U welcome Ruthie! If u wanna look good, u gotta put in the effort. Everything has its price.
Okie, thanks for getting us started this morning. I'm glad you're enjoying your tea-and eating OP. Stick with it and you'll be a very happy girl by the end of the year. BTW-I don't read much anymore since I learned to knit. Have a great day!
Heidi, your white tea sounds really good. I hear you east coasters may be in for more snow. I haven't been outside..Kirk said we have a skiff. Take care today.
Mmc, sending good vibes! I hope getting the hearing out of your way helps.
Kara, keep up the good work! Next week you'll be so organized. When does it warm up in your area?
Cottage, enjoy your extra day off!
Cyndi, that is such great news about your cholesterol. I hope your day is bumpless.
Ruth, hope to see you back soon and in much better computer health!
Karen, sorry you didn't sleep well. Maybe with a quiet house you can get some rest.
Twynn. I lost a post yesterday, but was glad to hear you and Reesie are starting to run together.
Chelby, see you later and I'm hoping for good news! At least you're getting a shower today!
We've been watching BBall games that last really late. Goofs up my schedule for sure. I'm catching some sewing before work. Kirk has a Dr appt this afternoon so we're going to meet his DD and go to Avatar. I haven't had coffee yet! It's time!
Hey Lex, I'm a Laker fan myself! Thanks for the encouragement! I'm waiting for Harry Potter 7, Part I to come out. I think that'll be the next movie I watch.
MMC-I agree you should probably check iwth the police. I am sending positive vibes your way.
Kara- you have inspired me. I am going to start decluttering a bit at a time starting this weekend. I am sure we have a move coming up within a year. So I might as well start getting ready!
Debbie- I like to knit too. I go in spurts.
Yesterday I felt so weired. I was somewhat sad and depressed. I am not sure why. I didn't make as great on my midterm that I thought I had. I wanted an A but ended up with a very low B. but I didn't think I was sad from that. I think I need some sunshine!! It looks all gray and cold out there right now. It isn't that cold, but looks cold.
Hope you all have a great day.
Tammie
BTW- I liked phase 1 this last time. I didn't find it hard and I didn't miss anything. I have gone almost 4 weeks without any cheats what so ever. In the past I would have cheated long before now and tried to rationalize it. Maybe I am really finally ready to get rid of this weight.
Good morning ladies, I got home late last night, so I am having trouble getting myself started this morning. The trip was good, but sitting in an all day meeting for 2 days is exhausting for some reason. I was able to escape early enough on Tuesday to walk around Battery Park and the harbor in downtown Charleston. Very pretty! I also went to see Lovely Bones. It was really good, I think I liked it better than the book. Susan Sarandon was great and I never would have believed Stanley Tucci could be so bone-chillingly creepy. DD wanted to see it so I wanted to check it out first. It isn't too graphic, so I'll probably let her go.
Anyhow, lots to do today, since sitting in a meeting doesn't actually get any work done. Got another program dumped in my already-full lap, so I've gotta figure out how I can manage it. I can't believe how many posts there are already, and I thought I was getting in early. I hope you'll all forgive me if I skip personals today, I'll catch up tomorrow.
Barb, I won't be in Dallas next week. I'm glad to skip the meeting, but sorry to miss the chance to get together again, but I'll catch you next time.
Linda, good luck with your shopping! I've found Trader Joe's to be much less crowded in the middle of a weekday.
Cyndi, congrats on the great visit with the doctor! I hope you find a comfortable maintainable weight and the stress is off.
Ruth, hope it's a quick fix at the computer shop! I think electronics give up far too soon. Tom keeps telling me we need new stuff and I tell him we just got our old stuff and he tells me that that's how it goes. I think he just wants the newest stuff, to tell you the truth. But sometimes our things really are broken.
Karen, don't envy me too much. The "shoe room" is technically supposed to be a fourth bedroom. However, it has a door to the garage, is tiled, and is barely big enough to have a twin bed and two dressers. I don't know how it could really be a bedroom! I also would love to have a real mud room! We have all these plans for when we get our "real house" (read: when Tom retires and we stop moving all the time ).
Tammy, did you really put blueberries in your eggs???
Michelle, one time when we were in Korea we forgot to get our oil refilled and it ran out in the middle of the Korean Thanksgiving, which is five days long. It was SO cold in our house and we had no hot water. We showered at the gym. You'd think we'd have learned our lesson, but we let it run out again, over New Years this time. Three days with no heat that time.
Debbie, enjoy Avatar! Tom went with my dad and brother and they all loved it.
Tammie, great job staying on plan!!! You know, part of the reason I started this decluttering business is because it felt like time for a move. I don't know what I'm going to do when Tom retires in four years!
Schmoodle, glad you made it home safely! Good luck with the extra project!
I am so very excited because I finished the shoe room! I got three bags of old shoes to yard sale and several coats as well. We're going to have quite a sale this spring! I organized the coat closets and got all the kids' sports stuff into a plastic container so it doesn't fall all over the floor every time the closet is opened. I also deep cleaned the fridge - yuck. I hate that job. Now from my front door to my living room door (entry, laundry room, powder room, and shoe room) is decluttered and deep cleaned. That's not much, but I am very happy.
Connor is doing his violin lesson and the girls are hungry so I'd better get downstairs.

Tammie - I hear you on the grading! I am the same way. It blows but know a B is great too, you passed, and Yippee!
Lexiss - Have fun at Avatar. Are you seeing in in 3-d?
FoodO - Good for you on a clean Phase 1!
Heidi -
Mmc - Sending you tons of good vibes...
Cyndi - great news from the Dr. GO YOU!
Ruth - Hope your 8 year old computer RIP!
Kara - I am a black tea lover too. We have this neat loose leaf tea thing but I only like Lipton with honey and lemon. Haven't had any in a while, since I'm not eating honey. Wonder if Agave will do the trick?
Cottage - stay warm!!!
Karen - yay for a house to yourself. Have fun, but not tooo much
Twynn - have fun on the treadmill HA! /sarcam
Chelby - sorry you have no water. That's gotta be the pits! any word on when it will be on again?
As for me, I am back at work today, just in time for the 12"+ of snow tomorrow! DW went food shopping last night to avoid the crazies! It's supposed to start around noon here. I am hoping for a snow day or at least half a day off. I really have been working from home so I haven't had much time, believe it or not.
Dr. called back and some results "raised and eyebrow" but they want to compare them to the biopsy results, so more waiting for me. I go back next Wed. for those. Good times.
I got in my workout yesterday and will walk for 30 minutes today at lunch if I am up to it. Off to eat my lemon pie for breakfast!
Good morning,
Nice to read everyones posts. I haven't been on the computer since Monday. Got up at 5a.m. on monday to go to the washroom and when I got back into bed my whole world started spinning, vertigo came back. It seems to follow a pattern, about every six months I get it. I am just taking it easy and taking some meds from the first time I got it, its slowly going away.
I have hardly been eating because my stomach and eyes just can't take food right now.
Hope everyone has a nice day.
take care
Sophie
Kara - yes!! Kinda like making the cinnamon omelette, without so much cinnamon, and a decent amount of egg to thin it out. Then some blueberries!! It was like having a blueberry crepe!
Not feeling very well today and it didn't start til I was on my way in to work. I finally kept some tea down so I am going to stay as I have some meetings today.
Mmc- you can go online and check him out for your county. The county court house has records you can see online, you just need to put their name in. You can see if he has ever been arrested and what he had to appear in court for and any tickets.
Today marks my two weeks on SB!! I'm so happy that I've stuck to it, I never thought I would be able to. I admit, I am STARVING this morning and nothing sounds good. I've been craving McDonalds like crazy, which is unfortunate. But I will not give in!
I'm going to find something to eat here in a little bit, then I'm going to get on the treadmill. I have a paper to write for my Film class today, but it shouldn't be hard to get done.
I have to work tomorrow, and I can't say I'm thrilled about that, but money is always good. Not to mention, I walk a lot at work and it keeps my mind busy.
On a side note, Opening Day for baseball is only 60 days away! That makes everything worth while. I can't wait to look good in my Rockies tshirts for the first time ever!
I think everybody around here decided to take today off and go to Trader Joe's. That place was insane! I'm glad I went, though, and as I was almost out of a lot of my staples from there. While I was standing on line at the checkout, I was so tempted to grab a chocolate bar, especially since I was starting to get hungry. But I called up an extra dose of willpower and was able to make it out of the store without giving in.
Cyndi, if I had known Julie had a show this weekend, I would have seriously considered coming up! Don't be surprised if Ruth and I drop in one day.
Jenn, don't you hate it when your doctor makes a remark like that and then leaves you hanging? But I guess if he can wait until next Wednesday to see you, it may not be too awful. This impending snow storm is all everyone is talking about around here. I wonder how much we'll actually get?
Tammy, that's interesting - blueberries in your omelette. But if you say it's good, then I'll take your word for it.
Back from yoga and the store. Time to catch up before lunch.
Twynn - It isn't it amazing how eating right affects us? BTW -Great names (yours and the pup's)
Chelby - What a hassle for you My MIL calls them spit-baths but I grew up calling them sponge-baths.
FoodO - I hesitate to ask... Michael Jackson?
Debbbie - Enjoy the movie. See it in 3D - we didn't and I wish we had.
Tammie - Sorry about your test; but there is always another one around the corner. Glad to hear you are doing so well with your eating.
Schmoodle - Glad to have you back.
Kara - Still envious I have a pantry with the floor covered by DS's shoes and books and sports stuff and more.
Jenn- I was worried when we didn't hear from you sooner. Another week! I would be going crazy... no patience here. Oh - I want to try that lemon pie. Have you had it before?
Sophie - Yikes - I hope the spinning has stopped.
Pearl - So many people under the weather now. Hope you feel better soon.
Tiger - Congrats on your PH1!
Cottage - I hate waiting at the checkout with all that candy staring at me. Today I got two things for DS to eat on his plane ride.
