Good morning ladies!

Sounds like you all have a busy and wonderful day ahead of you!!! I'm glad to see everyone is doing so well.

I'm still kicking on P2 of SB. I've lost 10 lbs over the past month and am going to be trying a whole wheat pizza this weekend!!!!

Have a FANTASTIC day and keep up the good work, all!

I had to pop in to wish Kara congratulations on Tom's promo! I know that's a huge deal, and I'm thrilled for all of you.

Good luck at the dr., Jenn! I'll be thinking of you!

Schmoodle, I haven't even thought about the weekend yet, but I may go over to NJ. Depends on the weather, Saturday looks iffy.

I got all my chores done and even did a 30 minute workout. I have some butternut squash soup simmering on the stove for my lunch, and it smell so enticing. (NO curry, thank you!) Now I have an hour to curl up with my book before heading out.

Ruthxxx- Thanks for starting this today. And I really admire your ability to quilt. My mother doesn't do it and I had to learn to craft on my own. I would give anything to know how!

femmecreole- What an awesome surprise. It usually never works out so I am glad every one kept the secret!

CyndiM- LOL @ indian chili. I love curry so it sounds good to me.

WaistingTime- My dreams were abnormally crazy too! So were my husbands. Wonder if it was something in the air =)

cottagebythesea- When you are done with your whites.. you can come do mine?? Lol. I need to commit today to cleaning.

Lexxiss- I had a great day yesterday but I was really home sick last night. My mom told me about the wet snow and it just makes me miss the white stuff. My dogs prefer the fluffier snow though. Not as cold. Be careful if you shovel.

Jenn- I am thinking of you!

Schmoodle- You and I have matching weekends =)

tomandkara- OMgosh. You really are a busy lady!! I can't believe all the classes. WOW *Claps and bows down to you!*

I am okay today. Feeling a little bit cooped up so maybe today is a real walk day vs. the treadmill. I think until I find a job I need to volunteer somewhere.

Have a great day ladies!

Thanks for all the good thoughts --I had to give a class on South Beach for the Dr and RN today. He too agrees with me that it's not fair to eat so healthy and have set backs.

I got EIGHT vials of blood drawn and while he's baffled, he wants to test me for Celiac (perhaps from the wheat?) and Chrone's, white and red cell count (see if I am bleeding from somewhere or have an infection), testing my thyroid, liver and kidney as well. He is doing an endoscopy on Monday. Hey, at least it's not a colonoscopy!

He also thinks it may be my bile -- they took out my gall bladder right before my wedding in 2006 -- the ph levels and strength of my digestive bile may be what is causing all this as well but he's not sure. If all these tests come back fine he is going to put me on those meds to see if they help.

In the meantime I should eat as I feel comfortable so that when he does the scope, it looks like it does. make sense? So, I am on the Questran that helps with the bathroom runs (though my thighs and legs are getting a workout from going up and down the stairs 8x a day!) and wait until Monday at noon.

Sorry if this was a lot - you all are the second people I've told

Jenn - Thanks for the update. Looks like you have a lot more questions than you do answers

Jenn-
Thanks for the update. I just got home and looking for an update from you was a top priority. This doctor sounds excellent - not assuming anything and being really thorough. hoping he finds an answer and that it's a healthy, livable fix. How's today?

Congratulations Kara! U've got a bright son and husband, most only get one in this life, lol! Glad we are all trucking along well on SB. My high school friend that I'm going to Subway with on Tuesday wants to start the SB diet!

Thanks for reading that you three!

Today was bad. Everything I ate just made me sick. He is worried about the dehydration and I worry about energy! I drank some broth an hour ago and so far so good.

Thanks for caring about me. I need to figure out what kind of a food list to make here while avoiding all these kinds of foods. My heartburn is like whoa!

Jenn, would they give you a referral to a nutritionist? I wonder if doing an elimination diet would help you at all. Also, I don't know if you do yoga or not, but I completely eliminated my heartburn through two pregnancies by doing yoga. All I had was a pregnancy yoga book. Maybe check out the library. I also would be tempted to see a chiropractor.

Thinking about you, friend!

I hate yoga But the heartburn is due to the flare/up. I don't always have it, nor is it like when I eat certain foods do I get the heartburn. Which is what is so frustrating and weird about the flare ups!

Awesome on the heartburn cure for you though! That ROCKS

What are you doing up? GO TO SLEEP!

Oh and depending on what I have, I am going to see a nutritionist anyway. Figured I'd wait until I find out what I have before trying to plan ahead!
