Hey chicks,
DD and I were out late last night to see Twilight and DS had a friend over, not sure how much sleep they got either, so things are moving slowly around here today. I plan to do laundry and a little cleaning, DD has a basket ball game, and I've got to do a little work also. I still haven't gotten much energy back from having that cold, and it sure is starting to show around here.
The movie was pretty good, but I was a little disappointed. Let's just say I didn't love it. I think part of the problem for me is Pattinson, the actor that plays Edward. He's just too much of a pretty boy for me. I like 'em a little scruffier. My niece says my SIL is the same way, the bummier they are, the hotter she finds them. Maybe it's a generational thing! I actually thought the bad guy, James, was much hotter.

ANYWAY, Heather, do tell, what are your Oscar picks so far? I don't get out to the movies much, so I usually have only seen one or two that I can root for.
Barb, I'm glad Robert seems to be feeling a little reasonable these days.

I love lazy Sundays. My birds are out playing around the house like crazy.

Boston Symphony was great, the train ride home was wierd. I was wearing a faux fur wrap with my black dress. Some crazy lady was asking me if I was American, making comments about wearing fur and animal cruelty. There were older women wearing full length fur coats, but she singled me out for my faux. The crazy woman probably thought it was real, so I obliged on egging her on. But her husband looked embarassed, so I backed off. The lady can insult me all she wants, there is no use arguing with mentally unstable people.

Anyways, PH1 is finally over!
Total PH1 weight loss
me - 8 lb (42lb more to go)
BF - 9 lb (12lb more to go)

chelby- I found the cheap veggies at Wal-Mart and Winn Dixie. Avocados, tomatoes and green bell peppers at WM and green beans, blueberries, squash (both spaghetti and zucchini) at Winn Dixie.

I always find great deals at Winn Dixie -- especially on meat.

rebel - I'll be glad when it is over. I truly hope it is soon. I hope I can get ahold of my lawyer tomorrow and see if I can meet with him.

Zeff -- WinnDixie in Birmingham tends to be one of the more expensive stores! I'll let Mom know about the sales. Thanks!
