Loriann, CONGRATULATIONS! Have fun shopping for a new wardrobe this weekend!

I'm home in time to watch the Phillies Parade on tv. Traffic and pedestrians were absolutely insane around here this morning! We live a few blocks from the train station, and every other person was trying to catch the train into the city. They finally had to shut Septa down because the systems couldn't handle so many commuters! All for a good cause though, the Philadelphia Curse has finally been broken.
Jake won a $100 gift certificate from Lowe's at his meeting last night. We're going to use it to buy one of those pop-up shelves for my mixer and paint for the bedroom. How did you like that Freshaire paint, ZEFF? Does it have good coverage? We're big fans of Glidden, but may check into that.

HEATHER, I loved Survivor last night!!!!! I was so, so happy for who was voted off!!!!!

Linda - Totally agree!!!

Ok...so as promised, here are pics of me in my two Halloween costumes.

The first is me as a generic super hero. I called myself "Super Woman"
The second is me today at school. Offically I am Nellie Taft, First Lady and wife to William H. Taft, President of the United States 1909 - 1913. But some kids thought I was Mary Poppins. Either way the costume went over well.

Ruth - glad that everything went smoothly.

me - rough week, DH is still in pain and has a low grade fever. I insisted that we go to family dr. today. She is sending him to another surgeon for a consultation to see if he should wait 6 to 8 weeks for surgery. I hate the internet sometimes. Too much information, I started reading up on gallbladder inflammation and it scared the daylight out of me. Anyways, had some reassurance from our dr. today.

Congratulation Lori, that is wonderful news ... and I loved the story of Jade. Mr. Peanut likes to run into his kennel when I pick up a treat and as he is sitting down he spins his little butt around all in one motion. You've just gotta love them.

Just flying by and trying to stop in here and read when I can. Had to take a minute to say congrats to Jessie and family, she is sooooo precious!
