Hi everybody! I'm back from being M.I.A. I have been traveling, picked up a friend from airport in Mumbai, and holidayed for a week. I've been off plan, but am reining myself back in and will start phase 1 again the first of the month if I don't get 'with it' before then.

Nessa::hug: My heart goes out to you. I've had to go through that ordeal with a beloved canine family member... Bagel is in a better place now, pain free and happy. Knowing that, helped my aching heart.

Everyone else, :grouphug:... MY life is getting back in hectic mode, I'll try and check in more often though, even if just for a quickie "hello!"

nessa - you make me cry. :hug::hug::hug: I'm sorry you were faced with that decision, but you made the right one. It is horrible to have to watch a pet suffer. <3

Me - Another very full day at work, and I'm glad it's Friday!!! I am so looking forward to sleeping in tomorrow morning, I've been EXHAUSTED lately!!! Tonight dh and I are taking advantage of our passes and headed to Disneyland for the evening. It should be a lot of fun, I love it there!!! Other than that, no big plans for the weekend.

Nessa, I've been there too. I give you credit for staying with Bagel to the end. I tried to stay with my kitty but I wasn't helping matters, so I went to my car and cried until they brought him out to me. I know you did the right thing. We have the power to prevent their suffering and it's the right thing to do even though very hard. :hug:

Loriann, Great jeans NSV and you reminded me... This week I saw a guy I've worked with on and off for the last ten years. He's known me a while, right? However, we now only see each other at meetings several times a year, but we used to work in the same office. Anyway, he asked me "have you lost some weight?" I had to crack up. Hello! 70 lbs! I think the moral here is, maybe my weight wasn't such a big issue to everyone else as I thought it was.
Hmac, have a fun night at Disney! I have been obsessing planning our trip all week. Never been to the Land, but I do love Disney World!! One day I would like to go without kids and just do everything I want to.

No time for personals but I do want to say Nessa, don't feel that you failed him, you did the right thing- I used to work in a vet hospital and nothing was worse than a selfish parent(owner) who let their pet live in pain because they could not bear to lose them. He is happily running now- and you have all those beautiful memories to remind you of him....

I used to live in Fl. when I was a little girl. Mom took the other 8 kids to disney world one day, I come home to find they all had went, I was not happy! Then again, when we were moving down there from NY I had told her I was going to the bathroom (I was 8) and when I came out the van and station wagon were GONE! LOL. My mother loved me so much! Oh Nessa :hug: I'm so sorry about your Bagel. Good thing I'm at work way early because I'm sitting here with tears streaming down my face. My girls are getting old now and I am so dreading the day I have to make that decision. I hope, whent that time comes, I can be as strong as you and make what we all know was the right one :hug:
