Thanks for taking us along on the tour, Cat! St. Francisville is really beautiful, you must have really enjoyed your day.

It's raining and ugly outside. Jake's cold is worse, so I think it would be wise for us to just stay home today. I'm going to get the rest of my baking done, and I have a small mountain of laundry that needs attending to. I want to see the grandkids today, I haven't seen them all week, but I don't know if it's a good idea for them to come over with these cold germs in the house.

Good morning ONEDERLAND!!!
Schatz, you are magical, I decided to weigh one more time this morning before putting the scale away until next weekend and I am definitely 199, maybe a little less even.
As my Marine buddies would say "oorah"!

Ironic, because DH and I found ourselves without any kids last night and decided to have a date night. We treated ourselves to a nice dinner, and although it wasn't a blowout, I was not a good girl!

Hope it stops raining so we can get our tree this afternoon.
Happy unpacking Schnatzarina!
Thinby, you were right about the scale. I'll remember that one for future reference!
Kim, hope you got a great tree and had a wonderful picnic. Congrats on the shopping. Wish I could say the same.
Sleep tight Kara!
We've missed you too weezle!
Keep up the good work Mandy!
Kier hope you are feeling perkier today!
cottage, biscotti day sounds dangerous...
Thanks for sharing your pictures Cat.
Have a great Sunday pearlrose.
Barb, hope you were able to get a good night's sleep. I did, finally, after having a few nights of weirdo dreams... Don't know what that's all about.

Well, we've got to go gather up our assorted kiddies and bring them home. They will both be tired and cranky today, woo-hoo!

Quick fly-by. At Church this morning we learned that there is a huge need for warm clothing for street people RIGHT NOW! I'm digging through closets and trunks to find stuff. So far I've found five wool blankets that I've not used for years so....outta here!

Hersh and I will do our Harry visit late this afternoon AFTER I put up my little tree. It's too darned cold to do outside lights today!

Stay warm and cozy.

Bless you, Ruth, for donating to the street people. I know they will cherish those warm blankets and clothing.

Schmoodle, :carro t:
Congratulations!!!!!!! You did it!!!!!! I'm thrilled for you, you've been working so hard for this.

I've been messing around all morning, it's time to get cracking. I have my baking ingredients all lined up on the kitchen counter, coming to room temp, and Jake wants a pot of homemade chicken soup, and I want to try to duplicate a Spinach & Swiss cheese Quiche that I had for lunch earlier in the week. It was outstanding, and I've been hankering for it ever since! If it doesn't turn out the same, I just may go to that cafe where I had it, and talk them into selling me a whole quiche, or at least share their recipe.

AFternoon Girls:
Still in a med induced cloud but functioning. We're getting our Tree today. DH Picked it out and it seems we'll have to cut a hole in the ceiling to accomodate it!! I've got 16 bean soup (well the beans) soaking in boiling water its CHILI TIME!!
I'm debating doing a 15 min WATP Dizzy hmmm perhaps I'm being a bit overexuberant!
Cottage Hope you get to see the grandkids!! I was lucky my gram lived with us when I was growing up so Extra hugs were never far away!
Schatzi: hopefully you'll find the office of your dreams with an Industrial Strength CAWFEE Pot! I really think coffee pots should come with an IV drip
SCHMOOO!!!! I totally pictured that Marine guy Gunny from the history channel OORAH! And Nice that you had date night!!
Ruth Enjoy your little tree!! And Harry

I knew you'd get there, Schmoodle! I'm dancing with you!! (How many calories does dancing burn?)

Ruth: Good for you and your donations! You and Hershey stay warm out there!

Schatzi: Sorry you didn't find an office set - I'm sure you will, though! If it weren't already noon, I'd be up for another cuppa joe!

KO: I'm loving doing WATP, but I'm not sure doing it while dizzy is the best idea. Chili sounds ideal as it's starting to get chilly here!

Cottage: Ooh, a day with grandma would definitely be worth the sniffles, although I'm not sure mom and dad would agree!

Cat: I'm glad yesterday was a great day for you - I'll have to check your link in a bit!

Pearl: Congrats on finishing up that Christmas shopping - two more to buy for on Dec. 9th isn't bad at all. I don't envy you the crowds you're dealing with, though!

Barb: Great job to Brian at the yard sale and the popcorn-selling! You are raising such a good, responsible young man - CONGRATS! I know it's hard these days (especially with all you're going through right now! )

Lisa: We sure do miss seeing you around here - but we also understand that you're busy and having fun! Stay safe on those icy roads!

Kara: How's the potty-training Avery doing today? Hope she and the rest of you are great!

Dawn: I'm dancing for you and your finished Christmas shopping! Hooray!

Me: It's been a good morning for me. Jumped on the scale to check my mid-week progress and I'm down 3#'s this morning. I'm sure it's because I've started working out again AND because DH and I are eating a lot better. I'm not changing my ticker until I weigh-in officially on Wed., so I hope it sticks!

I also got a good 4-mile walk in this morning, so exercise is done for the day. All I've got left is a little house-straightening and some baking. So, it should be a pretty leisurely, enjoyable day!

OH! I forgot to mention - DH and I found a great Christmas tree yesterday. We always expect our self-cut trees to be a little "Charlie Brown" and this one is no exception. However, it is just perfect for us, our ornaments all fit, and we had a great time getting it!

Thanks chicks, it sure feels good! I think this is the first time in at least 10 years that my weight has started with a 1. Can't be sure due to scale aversion.

The tree is up and sure looks pretty and smells good. Now it really feels like Christmas.

My stomach is stuffed full of meatloaf and veggies, and all is well with the world.

Hi Chicks
I guess the winter cold germs have finally made there way out west because I have a full blown case of the sniffles and boy am I cranky!
Femme Thank you so much for letting us virtually join you on your trip. It is SO beautiful there and your pictures are gorgeous. I'm glad you had a nice time.
Scmoodle Congratulations on onederland. I'm glad you weighed one more time before putting that scale up.
Kim Congratulations on the midweek weigh I'm sure it'll stick. Especially with your ramped up excercise.
KO I hope you feel better soon. Here's to good meds.
Cottage Hope Jake feels better soon.
Barb I hope you were able to get some rest. Congrats to Brian on the yard sale success.
Ruth You and Hershey stay warm. I hope you had a nice visit with Harry.
Kara I love your Charlie Brown tree. You have the most adorable family.
Schatzi I'm sorry that office shopping didn't go better. Good luck unpacking.
Pearl Love the online idea. It was crazy out there yesterday and the closer it gets to Christmas the crazier the crowds seem to get.
Lisa Stay warm. We miss you.

Tomorrow is officially the end of Ph1 redo and now I don't want to weigh because I know my sniffles are causing me to retain water. Maybe things will look better after 1/2 bottle of Nyquil and a good nights sleep.

Hey chicks, just doing a test to see if I could link to a photobucket image. Just go about your business. BTW, this is my mvm for when I started 245 lbs. And here's now. Look, she changed her outfit too!

And got a tan!
Her tummy is too flat...

How do you make that girl, Schmoodle? And how do you get your picture to appear in your message instead of as an attachment?

Kara

P.S. YOU ARE AWESOME! CONGRATS ON THE ONES!!!

Schmoodle, the only thing about linking to someone's graphics in photobucket is that each time someone views the graphics, it uses up that person's bandwidth allowance some. If they exceed their bandwidth limit, they will not be able to use their account before a certain time period . They are only allowed so much "juice" in a certain time period and once that's used up for that time period, they have no more. You may have seen little "icons" that say "bandwidth exceeded" in some posts...that means that person who owns the graphic has run out of "juice"

Duh, never mind!!... I see the images are in your own account..
