I just started yesterday. Doing well, and feel good. I kind of made up my own meals as hadn't really planned on starting, but got so inspired decided to go for it.

Good luck everybody!

Hi, I hope you really like it. I weigh Thursday, it will be one week of wave 1. I've already lost three pounds. I was hungry when i first started but it really didn't take very long to stop the cravings.

On this plan do you have to follow the recipes or can you plan you own around the "allowed foods"? I've never looked into this plan but it sounds great, you can actually have fruits and veggies?? It looks like you can many food choices as long as you cut out the sugar and white foods...is that right? I'm just trying to get info before I go out and get the book.

thanks!

Jen,

No you don't have to follow any recipes in the book or plans. Those are merely suggestions. There are two really informative stickies at the top of the forum that explain the plan. Also you might want to check out the Sonoma Recipe sub forum at the top of the page. Lots of good recipes there and they list which wave they are good for. Wave one recipes are good for Wave 1,2,3 and Wave 2 recipes are good for Wave 2,3.

Hubby and I are completely starting Wave 1 Sonoma again this Saturday, Friday is grocery shopping day.

We have kinda been following it for the last month with other life changing events that have been going on, but it's time to really get back into it.
