Has anyone else noticed that they are having trouble sleeping
Usually I am sound to sleep at 10:30, but as you can tell it is after 2am and I am not sleepy.
I have noticed that since I started this.
Just wondering??

I think we all have trouble sleeping now and then.. I am older and when I started menopause, I had trouble, now its fine.. (10 yrs later)... if you havent changed your night time routine.. its hard to say, I never had a diet affect my sleep unless it was for going potty in the middle of the night....anybody else got sleep issues with sonoma???

I am formerly a Soutbeacher, and I know it takes time to adjust to it... Im sure the others will agree, dont give up... should settle down soon... let me know!!!!

I've had terrible trouble sleeping since I started low carbing and I guessed it was my body shouting 'holy crap where's all the sugar gone?!?!?!?' lol. I was wide awake until 2/3am. This is what I have done the last couple of nights and it at least got me asleep at 1am! I ate slightly less dinner, stopped drinking tea after 8pm (cuppas are my downfall - would drink one as I was going to bed!) and at about 10pm I had 2 slices of slimmer's wheat bread with a little peanut butter and half a teaspoon of jam. It didn't make me crash (made that mistake one lunchtime last week when I had some white pitta bread and slept all afternoon!) but it made me start yawning, like I should have been at 11pm! It seems the little pb&j helps in 2 ways...the little bit of sugar makes you tired and the bread soaks up the excess liquid that makes you want to pee all night! I actually slept until about 6.30am when my bro-in-law's very loud alarm clock in the next room woke me up - I managed to go right back to sleep tho which had also been a problem - I would wake up to go to the bathroom in the night and lie awake for another hour or so...
