Default best effective workouts?

I have quite a bit to lose...I'm heading back to the gym to do Turbo Jam type workouts..LOVE them! that's an hour...If I add 15 minutes afterwards of weightlifting ...will that help anything at all? Maybe a body part each day after cardio? Thanks

Yes But I'd try the weight lifting first, then the turbo jam workout.

I agree with Mel do the weights first... 15 mins of weights won't cut it either, but if you are a beginner 15 mins is better than nothing.... working yourself up to at least 40-50 mins of weights before your cardio of choice...
