Default Looking for diet/training buddy.

I am looking for women who aren't afraid of gaining muscles. The strong brute type. I am 5'7". 220 lbs and stout! But I have a lot of fat! I've always loved the idea of a woman being strong. I think that's how every woman should be, both mentally and physically. I would appreciate it if somebody could take me under their wing as far as healthy dieting and working out goes. Right now, my main thing is track. I am a discus thrower and I try to lift after disc. I just can't even bench my warm up! To me this makes no sense, because fat is energy and let's just say I have a lot of "energy" lol. When am I finished burning off my lunch and when does burning off fat begin? I really need help w/a lot of questions. I'm looking for an email buddy or messenger buddy. Anybody interested, just post back please. I am really looking for long-term support here. I'm 18, I have time to get fit, just no guidance!

I'd really suggest doing some reading. Even if you don't want to do the programs, you need to get a more solid grounding in how the whole process works. Here are a few places to start:
Body for Life by Bill Phillips
Body for Life for Women by Dr. Pamela Peeke
The BodySculpting Bible
Exercise Anatomy
Your Body Revival by Dave Draper

If you go to the top of this forum, there are some stickies with basic information and a few websites listed. www.stuptuous.com is a great source of info- which I always spell wrong, so go look at the stickies

If you can't bench your warmup weight- it's too heavy for a warmup

Sorry to be so brief- gotta go to work!
