Hi Bella, I hope you are doing well in your receovery.
I can certainly identify with your distate in hospitals; I'm not exactly a fan of them myself, and I've been treated for a myriad of problems over the years, the latest having my appendix removed this past September--which happened to be on the wrong side of my body to boot!
I am 43 (44 three weeks from this coming Wednesday), and currently a 22/24; back in March 2004 when I began my own journey, I wore a 32/34 and am aiming to be a 12 eventually.
I'm doing this for me in hopes to look and feel healthier, not to have the butt of a 25 year old. And nearly 60 pounds down, I am already feeling the difference.
I applaud you for wanting to make healthier choices; I think none of us would be here if that wasn't the case. It's not the easiest thing to do (nothing worth achieving really is, is it?), but once those good habits are practiced long enough , they become almost second nature. Good luck to you--you have indeed come to the right place!
