My name is Nicole, and I'm here because I want to lose some weight, but I need a healthy approach and some support. I've struggled with my weight all my life, even when there was no real issue except a false sense of self. As an adult, my weight's been as high as 185, as low as 75, and currently rests at 134 on a 5'4 frame.
Not a horrible weight, but I feel I would be more comfortable if I lost about 15 pounds. I have a healthy body image and have been eating normally for long enough now that a diet wouldn't be a bad thing. I eat healthily, but I know there are several habits I need to kick.
Basically, my goal is to be between 110 and 125 before my wedding, which is a full year from now. I'm hoping to lose the weight within the next 6 months, so that when it comes time to get a dress and all, I will be at my ideal weight and simply maintaining it.
Any advice is greatly appreciated :-)
