Smile December Weigh In

Ok Girls and dude. Here's our accountability for December. Surely we can be as good as we can and even if we maintain or lose just a pound or two, it's better than nothing.

We all know that the temptaions are going to be right in front of our eyes for this whole month, but if we support each other, pop in here for a moan, for help or to give support often, we'll be on a good start for 2005

Hello all, I feel like singing!!!! A glorious 1.5 lb off this week .

My WW leader was advising us all about how to deal with Xmas parties, and for the first time, I was glad I'm not going to any! That would knock me right off track. Don't want to undo all my good work.

1lb off for me this week! I'm glad I'm not going to any xmas parties too! I'm glad it's just me and fiance this xmas (he is a stick insect) so will be hardly any temptation unless I buy it!!

Well done Angel, slow off is good remember, the slower you take it off, the less likely it's going to go back on.

Unhappy Tummy bug

Ooh urgh - weight dropping off due to not eating anything for a day or so . Dear hubby had it earlier in the week and helpfully passed it on. It's got so I'm not hungry. Plenty of fluids, and a little yoghurt yesterday, and stomach felt as if it was tied in a knot. Anyone got advice on how to break a fast? I can't think what's easily digested. Hope it doesn't knock me off track
'Better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick' - my sister in law was fond of saying that - any idea where it came from? She was born in Kent I think, but grew up in Cumbria.

Oooo TC hope you feel better soon, try dry toast with tea for a bit to bring the food intake back up, that always works for me.

Well done Cathy... were you even trying luv? I remember a mention of a beer being drunk?

I've lost five pounds this week, but I can't change my ticker cos I gained it before this last week... and it won't let me change it to a Christmas one either, I tried yesterday..pooh!

WOW Well Done Chris you've caught me out NO I was'nt even trying i'm guilty of drinking beers and eating lots of chocolate so don't know how i've lost it because i've not exercised for weeks either can you lose weight from excitement? because thats all i've got at the moment can't wait to go home

Tai..My daughter and grand-daughter had that last week hope its far far away when I get there maybe try the toast like Chris said or a Rich Tea Biscuit they used to recommend them for morning sickness as I recall never worked for me tho' "better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick" was said to me once by my boss in England and I always remembered it because it was the first time i'd heard it no idea where it originates from but it made me laugh.

Hello everyone!

Tai, my Mum's been told by docs in the past to eat pears, plain rice and I think it was yoghurt for easy digestion. She had some evil food poisoning thing and lost about half a stone!! Hope you're feeling better soon
