I'm hoping that I have the professional photographers photos to share with all of you by the end of the week - they're supposed to be out around October 4 - but a girl can hope can't she? I can't wait! I just know that they turned out well (we really like our photographer) and it's one wedding thing that's still a surprise!
This is the last week before I start classes. Sigh. I need to get books - agggghhhh! My books cost $325 this term. And the dh's cost $460! Gulp - my god! Isn't that just insane? Luckily, I'm also starting back up at work this week. I'm looking forward to being busy somewhat, because it makes it easier for me to stay on plan when my day is so full. Plus, I'll be near the gym for the majority of my day. I'm taking a beginner's tennis course and a softball class, so I'll definately be getting some exercise, but I'm hoping to make at least a couple of stops at the gym per week, I just have to figure out how to fit it into my day or I won't do it!
How did everyone's weekend go?

Ooo Jenicra, I can't wait to see your pictures I hope you get them back soon!

My weekend was great. It's been B E A U tiful weather here. DH & I were going to go camping with some friends, but it threatened rain showers over night and they didn't want to chance it. (wimps. j/k) I actually have gotten quite a bit of cleaning and stuff done around the house, which I actually have missed house cleaning since I've started school. It's so gross and dirty!!! Oh well.

I hope you all enjoy the last hours of your weekend!

I had a great lazy weekend. I did something out of character and bought movies...to some that is normal, but I always worry about money, and can think of plenty of things I'd rather spend money on..but I ended up buying Along Came Polly, and the Return of the King. I had to do something there was nothing but football on now days!!! Sorry football lovers...but I just can't even sit through a minute of it, then they have4 the pre game shows the after game post shows....arghh...

Anyways, have a great week girls!

School is in the air again! Which I am really excited for because it always happens that exercise is my freedom from studying. But dont feel bad about being the only who is depressed about the cost of school because this term cost me 1500 dollars and I had to put it all on credit! So scary!

But I am also depressed that it is my last week of freedom. But what can you do I always love to being doing the school thing.

I am also trying to get a promotion at work so I can have more money to not be so poor. (but i think that most of us are right now).

I have been doing really good on eating the right things but today I ate too much, but it was all healthy for me. Here soon I am going to go work out for the first time in about a week and half. bad bad me!

Talk to you all soon

Tye

Lynnie!!! How are you girl? I'm so glad you're back!

Tye - I know what you mean about dreading/looking forward to school - and that's it's soooooo expensive - this term alone cost me 2200. Yikes!

Tye & Jenicra: I just realized that you're both from Oregon. I've seen pictures of all the landscape and I just feel drawn to that part of the country. What do you love about it? Is it really always rainy? I also have this idea, not quite sure where it came from, that along the west coast there is more opportunity to live healthier--there are markets where you can buy fresh food every day, there's moe outdoor activity opportunites... Am I way off the mark?

Hey, ladies! It's been awhile, but I'm back. It's been a busy summer.

Congrats on your marriage, jenicra! I cannot wait to see the pictures.

There are lots of new people here -- that's great! Welcome!

I've maintained my weight for the last few months. At first, I was disappointed, but I realized with all the traveling I've been doing and how busy of a summer its been, it's probably not that bad of a thing. But, I'm really looking forward to getting the rest of this weight off. My goal is to get 15 more pounds off by the end of the year.

Hope all of you ladies are doing great!

Take care,
Jina

Talking

Wow! Welcome back Lynnie and Jdogg!!!

Tye & Jenicra: I hear ya on the whole school thing. Just wanted u both to know i'm in the same boat. I work full time and am in school and am paying for it myself. It aint cheap! I just keep telling myself it an investment...towards my future, so I won't have to continue living pay ck to pay ck.

Just like working out and taking care of one's self is an investment. I work for a nutrional supplement company and I see these older people coming in and trying to get their health right, some are trying to undo damage that did in their younger years. I know that if I take care of myself now...it will help me in my future.

(uh, where did this rant come from?) Uh, maybe too much coffee

Happy Hump Day everyone! Have a great week!!!

SK - Oregon is gorgeous! We have very wet late autumns/winters/and early springs but we have a long, very hot and sunny summer too. There's a farmer's market in every town over 8000 people here, I swear. Tons of fresh food, lots of organic markets. As for outdoor stuff - heck yeah it's true. When you've got the ocean on one side, the mountains on the other, and 300 lakes, streams, rivers, hills, etc. in between there's tons of outdoorsy stuff to do.

Jina - good for you on the maintain - you'll be well practiced at maintaining for when you get to your final goal!

STB - You're soooo right - it's easier to put in the effort now and try to keep that way than to spend a lot more energy on it when you're older and some of the damage has already been done.

Cool Oregon is the best place

Skinned Knees:
I grew up in Boise and LOVED it there. But 5 years ago I moved to Lincoln city on the Coast and it was so nice. There are alot of natural type here, and jenric should know too there are alot in eugene too. I love the organic markets and fresh foods that you get here.

Lincoln city was so nice and green and beautiful and I loved it, but there was only a small market there called trillium that served organic foods, but the fresh seafood. My moms boyfriend fishes for fun all the time and MAN! I tell you what nothing like fresh salmon and tuna and homemade smoked salmon.

About 7 months ago I moved here to Hillsboro and I started to work at an organic market called Newseasons. You can go to their website newseasonsmarket.com I love it, we sell so much organic stuff but also non organic aswell....for when you have the cheetos craving. Every sunday we have a farmers markets, and we have the only certified organic bakery in the Northwest. In the deli where I work there is a full line of chefs and EVERYTHING is made there. There is also a full wok bar so you can have hot stirfry anytime you want, or fresh hamburgers (made of oregon country beef). I just love the store. I have never been so happy with a job, and they way of life that it gives me. Can you tell!!!???

But you are right about oregon. You should visit sometime. You will love it and we can go workout together.

ok, did anyone watch The BAchelor last night? I'm a bachelor Junkie and this looks like to me this will be the best one yet! I love that he will be staying with them in the house! and the girls...well, the are the cat-iest bunch ever!

Don't forget TannyMc The apprentice tonight!

Honestly I sound like my life revolves around tv, it doesn't I assure you. These couple of shows are the only tv I really watch. I'd rather read a book than sit in front of the tv...plus I usually have tons of homework So these shows are my indulgence. OK, I feel better explaining myself now

I'm a Bachelor fanatic, spill, so of course I was watching. I'm not really big on the bachelor himself, but I think the idea of him living with all the girls is great -- it'll make for a good show, anyway. And, the girls are definitely catty!

Oooh! I want to visit Oregon now. It sounds beautiful!

Evenin' ladies. I hope your day was better than mine. I haven't had a really bad day in such a long time, I forgot how much they suck!

It started on Wednesday night. I was driving home and a guy ran a very red light, struck me in the rear passenger side tire/fender, made me do a 180, and I haven't heard for sure, but I'm pretty sure that totalled my car. I'm fine thankfully. I'm not even sore. Thank you God!!!

I'm really upset about my car though. It's a '95 Toyota Tercel & I've had it 5 years. It's in (well, was in) great shape. (side note, Toyotas are great cars--they stick around for the long haul.) Never had mechanical problems & it's pushing 150,000 miles. I was really hoping to get at LEAST another 50K on it. And thankfully we have a witness who verified my light was green. And his insurance has been good to work with, so I guess that's good, but still....

What really is the kicker though is that my dh left for San Fran yesterday to visit his bro. So, I miss him too. And I wasn't able to go, so that sucks that I can't go have fun in Cali. I've been just an emotional wreck today. If he were here and the accident happened, I'd be ok. Or if the accident didn't happen, but he were gone, I'd still be okay. But the two combined just suck.

Tomorrow I'm taking my church's high school group camping. Saturday we get to go rock climbing/rappeling. I'm so psyched. I hope we get to do it on the bluffs, and not the wall, but I'll deffinitely settle for the wall. So I'm hoping that will take my mind off things for a while.

Jenicra & fire: I CAN NOT WAIT TO GO TO OREGON!!! When I talked to my dh on the phone tonight he gave me a goal, that when I meet my long term goal of 130 we would take a trip out there. So, I give you both & every one else reading this permission to remind me when I'm not doing so well that I want to get to Oregon.

I used to watch the Bachelor all the time. I got so sick of it though. They always pick the wrong one!!! But I still do have a yearning to keep up with it on the abc website.

I hope you all have a great weekend!!!
