Default Newbie and on Slimming World

Hi!

I've been on Slimming World for the past 6 days and am feeling like I am eating too much! I'm going it alone (with help from my husband) but feel like I must be doing something wrong.

Have bought all the books (and cook books so I don't get bored) and am not exceeding 10 SYNS a day.

Does anyone else feel like this?

This is an example of what I ate yesterday:

Breakfast
Branflakes with Milk (from HE options section)

Lunch
Smash with ome dry fried onions and tinned spaghetti

Evening Meal
Spaghetti bolognaise cooked with Quorn mince. Sauce was made with tinned tomatoes, herbs, onions and mushrooms.

Snacks
Fruit
Carrots with Cottage cheese (low fat0

Syns
2 fun size milki ways

[b]Drinks
Diet Coke

Does anyone see if I'm going wrong here as I feel like I'm overeating!

Any advice would be grateful!

Everyone says they can't believe how much they eat when starting sw! You doing great. I do believe I eat more now than when I was 3 and half stone heavier!

Thanks veggie!

I think it's also trying to believe I'm on a diet as I'm really enjoying it!

Found this website today and it looks the bee's knees so I hope to become a regular.

Have about 5 stone to lose and am taking it a stone at the time.

How long did it take you to lose the 3+ stones? Well done you!

I joined sw in March (was just after my birthday so was the 11th) so since then. I have a lot to lose so came off fast but my sister is much smaller (she 9 stone something now) and she has lost 2 stone since then.

Hi Heavensbug

Hey Veggie what about the smash and the tinned tomatoes are they still OK? I ask because they seem to change the syns list quite a bit

Hi Heavensbug!

Fab diet isn't it for how much you can eat!

It's trying to convince others to believe you are on a diet is the pain in rear!

Your food diary for that day sounds really good If you haven't already - invest in some Fry light (the sunflower one as its the nicest I think) - to fry those onions in. Its syn free - and make eveything fried in it taste yum and naughty!

The Smash is all good - and you could try some of the flavoured ones too - which are all free except for the bacon one and the chedder and onion which are 1 syn per 100g made without butter and milk.

Hi Kelly ~ thanks for the good luck wishes.

I have invested in a Fry Light ~ we ended up getting the olive oil one as our local tescos arent well stocked!

Looks like I will be coming on here often with questions and getting tips!
