Hi,

I started at 196 and was put on 22 points which is for women 12-14 stone. I think 200lbs is 14 stone 4, but they would probably still put you on 22 rather than 24.

One thing I've learnt is that you must eat your full points and don't think you're doing yourself a favour by trying to eat less. The first week I lost 4 pounds, but tried way too hard the second week, eating around 18-19 pts a day instead of 22 and I stayed the same. The leader said that your body goes into starvation mode if you eat too little and so the metabolism slows down to compensate for eating less food, meaning you lose no weight.

If you exercise, any time you misjudge and go a couple over or something, you will always be able to make that up in bonus points.

Good Luck!

It might help if you cant join a group to buy some of the material from ebay. You can get it quite cheap.

Hey Tory!

Long time no see! I too am doing weightwatchers now - I restarted today! I am no longer attending classes anymore as I can't afford them - but I've got all the info to do it at home.

If you need to know anything you are welcome to PM me.

Only a year till you get married? I'm sure the time will fly by! I too got engaged just before Christmas - we've not set a date yet- I've said that I won't walk down the ailse until I am a size 12 - so at the rate I am going I'll be drawing my pension!

All the best!

Love Amanda xx
