Default new to the beach!

my name is tiffanie and i'm 20 years old, living in southern michigan.

i just started SB on Friday (may 21st), and so far i've lost 2 lbs over the weekend! i woke up this morning actually feeling THINNER!

first of all, i must say that i've lost 35 pounds since last february (2003) by counting calories, changing eating habits, etc. i went from 165 down to 130, which I've maintained for the past 6 months or so. i'm 5'4, and have a small to medium build, so my ultimate goal weight is about 120. i'm hoping SB will help me lose the last 10 or so pounds that i haven't been able to lose otherwise. (mainly in my belly and thighs...heh)

i was/am a carboholic, so i'm hoping that SB will help me.

Welcome, Tiffanie, and congratulations on your weight loss to date!

SBD is a great WOE, and I am sure that it will help you with these last pounds. With so little to lose (good for you!) it might take a bit longer than those with a lot to go (like me), but it will come off! I think there are several people here who are using SBD to finish off their diets. I wish you tons of luck and lots of good health!

Welcome Tiffanie! My name is Stephanie and when I was a kid I always wanted to be a Tiffanie, lol.

Isn't SBD great? It is the only diet that I have been on that I can actually feel the weight loss, no matter how small. It takes away all the bloat. Oh and you will probably have great success if the belly fat loss is your goal. Dr. A says that is where you will lose it first. Congrats on being so close to your goal and losing 30+ pounds! What an inspiration, great job.

Again welcome to the beach, I wish you much success on your last 10lbs.

Welcome -- in our house, we don't even call it a diet. For us, it's the South Beach Lifestyle

Hey, Jenn, I was just wondering...how do you figure out your weight down to the ounces? You must have one amazing scale!

It is Beach Girl. I bought it on Amazon.com -- it tracks my last weight and then the current one, down to the ounce.

Here is a link: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg...Fencoding=UTF8

It was expensive, but well worth it. I bought it a year ago and have only had to change the battery once! It also weighs to 330 pounds.
