Yes, Marcie, I am having a HECK of a time! I haven't been OP for over a month! And I'm out of OP groceries right now until next Thursday. And I'm sick with a cough/cold, so I can't even get to the Y for a workout. NOTHING can save me.

Yes, I am also having trouble staying OP everyday. The biggest thing has been the Halloween candy that is sitting around the house. I usually buy it a few days before Halloween, but this year DH bought it weeks ago. I cannot say that I will not have any more, but I will promise that what ever is left over goes to work with DH.

Ellis~~~What's this c**p about "nothing can save me"? You all should see how beautiful this lady is!!!!
That's what we are here for , sweetie. (to help each other). Every day does not have to be perfect. Any day that you make good choices is better than nothing. You will be feeling better as soon as that nasty cold is gone, and then you will have the energy to go to the gym , etc. If not, then I guess that I will have to give you a polite kick in the butt (but only if you give me a swift one, too~

BTW, Ellis, you ARE younger than me. I will be 49 next Feb

Ellis-Once you get better you will feel more optimistic. Or I will come up there and tickle you into it!!! I have been having a rough time too. We both need to get back on track, but don't expect yourself to be perfect when you can't even get to the store!!! Get healthy, and then get back on track. xxoo

Sil-I bought the candy already too!! It is the only thing I'm NOT eating, because i KNOW that if I open the bag I'll never STOP eating it!!!

Marcie-Thanks for the good wishes!!! Hope that YOU have a good day too sweetie!!!

I'm really struggling and can feel it growing inside me! I have to make my lunches and dinners on sundays, put them in little containers and every day I pull two out - and pull my snacks. I work two jobs and go to school full time so making food everyday just isn't possible! It's hard to get veggies to last a week so I need ideas for how to get my veggies in!! I love them once i'm in the habbit of eating them, but it seems to easy to fall out of that habbit. Right now i'm eating a lot of tuna, chicken and egg salads. I'm saladed out!! I was reading some journals here and realized how few veggies I'm getting!

I'm also struggling with exercise. I know it's important but I just can't seem to make myself get up!! I know I'm worth it - now I just need to DO it!

Overall I feel incredible!! My hardest part is accepting that I can do everything right and the scales still might not move for a month! Learning to be patient and not need the instant reward is very hard for me. I'm working on it!

I do great on days that I am working, I am not sitting around the house looking at food!
Today is my Sunday, I was off yesterday and today. Yesterday I ate 1 slice of toast with my breakfast, shrimp chips at the Chinese restaurant and 1 piece of chocolate. Today I ate homemade mac-n-cheese (just a spoonful at a funeral luncheon) and had a glass of juice. I feel miserable! I wore a skirt to the funeral that I couldn't wear last year due to the belly flab, which felt wonderful and now that I ate that crap I am really angry with myself!
Thankfully I go back to work tomorrow and will be back OP! This is an easy diet to follow but when I am off work I guess I feel I am "off" from everything. Now I know where my weakness is and I will work on it.
I am headed to the treadmill now to work off some of my sins!
