Hi!!! I have never tried Ricotta cheese but I have seen ALOT of posts concerning it in desserts.....is it sweet? I am a very picky eater and cheese just seems like a wierd thing to eat as dessert (of course cheesecake is awesome right) I am pretty much eating fudcicles and jello for my desert but I would love to try something new.
Ricotta really does not have much flavour. It is like a slightly grainy cream cheese - it is a bit crumbly instead of creamy. I put a half cup in my tiny food processor, add a wee bit of egg white and zap it with Splenda and some sugar free Jello or Crystal light. The egg whites are the pasteurized ones that come in the carton, by the way.
