May 2022 - Daily Accountability/Lifestyle Change - Everyone Welcome!
Hi, Everyone! Welcome to the Check-In! Let's make it a great month!
I want to welcome everyone to the Daily Accountability Check-In. Our goal is to stay accountable and on track by posting our daily food and exercise choices. All food and exercise programs are welcome. Consistency is the key to reaching our weight loss goals.
Introduce yourself or jump right in and tell us what you have been doing.
Mark 9:23
Jesus said unto him, 'If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.'
All my friends said they didn't think I could do it. They had watched me stuff myself so many times; they didn't think I had any self-control at all. I showed them. I knew in my heart I could make it. Sure, it was tough, but I'm no quitter. When the going got the toughest, it just made me more determined to lose the weight. The key is to believe in yourself. God believes in us, even though we don't always deserve His trust. If God can believe in us, then who are we to do otherwise? Pray for God's assurance, and you will find more than enough faith to make it through.
Diana: Thank you again and again for beginning the group another month...
Nancy: Have a fun hike.
Yesterday, I did 10 minutes on the efflexor and this am, I biked, wt. lifted, did floor exercises and did stair steps. I am so happy when I have accomplished all that. Diet is still off a tad. I had a donut yesterday... Later, I went to get fast food but the drive thru was too long and the door was locked. I think they must be really short staffed. So I picked up a bagel and some OJ and chocolate milk in the grocery store. I also picked up some salad dressing...for salads. I think I need to eat more greens. Later, I tried the fast food place again, but the line was too long. Gee, I hope that they don't go under. I went elsewhere and picked up a potato taco...
Well the hike went well. We met a really nice lady and her lab on the trail. The '4' of us walked for a while together then DH hip was bothering him so he went back (about a 1.5 miles in) Me, my new friend "devon" and his handler Amanda kept going. We eventually wound back to the parking lot. Roughly a 4.5 mile round trip.
WI up a bit but still within a reasonable range 156-159. That is the best i can concentrate on right now.
WO-the hike, muddy jeans and all.
back later chicks....where are all the roosters? do we have any more roosters?
Have a Blessed day and stay safe and healthy. Have a great start to your week!

Romans 8:28
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
Ed didn't really know what made him decide to try to take weight off, but now he was glad. His doctor had discovered an irregular heartbeat, and he told Ed to be thankful that he didn't have to carry around so much weight anymore, or his poor heart just wouldn't be able to bear the load. Ed secretly thanked the Lord for helping him out. No matter what had motivated Ed to lose, by doing so he had saved his own life. It was ironic, but Ed had always known that God makes all things work out for the best. After this, no one could ever convince him differently!
Today's thought: My diet may be the best idea God's had all day!
I biked, wt. lifted, and did floor exercises this am. I went up and down the stairs many times yesterday. No huffy puffy. Diet okay except for brownies. I did some work with my seedlings.
