Default anyone here on south beach diet?

I am a lifter and have been on WW for some time and noticed i just was not cut like i should be for all the lifting i do,so i have now decided to go on SBD and i think with the protein and lesser carbs i should see results that i want to see,anyone here done SBD or on it now?

I do South Beach. Check out Fat Chicks on the Beach thread...very cool people post there!

I lost 13 lbs on phase one and I NEVER lose the amt of weight advertised as what you COULD lose (my results always vary, in fact they never come close). But I DID lose the 13 lbs in Phase One and was lifting. I drank a zero carb protein drink when I came home from lifting. I didn't see a decrease in my lifting power.

I'm in phase two and not losing as steadily but haven't been to the gym in a couple of weeks. It's a very cool WOE and it think it compliments lifting nicely.

Hey. I am on SBD now, and have been for two weeks. I think it is an OK way of eating to complement exercise and lifting weights. On days that I lift, I do eat a little bit of whole grain carbs..maybe it is just psychological, but I think it helps.
