Default Move It Monday - November 3

Good morning. It's nice to see morning "dusk" at this time of day. Today is supposed to be a sunny day again. Yesterday was just brilliant but very cold so no outside work was done.

I am having a hard time adjusting to the time change. I wake at 3 now instead of 4! Duh! I may have to force myself to stay up later to get in sync. Maybe standing up to watch TV will keep me from dozing off.

Quilting Biddies happen this morning and we are having a mini-sale for the staff and patients at the medical centre. (We use their big meetingroom for our work bees.) Right now I don't have a project but will be "The Iron Lady" for those sewing. The ladies with husbands get their machines lugged in for the meetings but I really find mine way too heavy. I hate to admit that I have three sewing machines but even the lightest one is too much.

This afternoon I am doing an audit for the Hort. Society. Ernie is coming to "help" me which is a joke. He'll sit there and sip tea and tell me boring stories which I've heard before. However, someone from the organization is supposed to be present to sign off the audit.

Both dogs are zzzzin away on the couch. Maybe they are planning to hibernate for the winter. Dogs and bears ARE related.

Time to move it as the dryer just stopped. I'd rather fold than iron.

Have a great day!

Good Morning

No light here yet, Ruth! Thanks for getting us started this morning! I hope your day goes well...and you endure Ernie's stories. Lol. Isn't he the one you used to make pies for?

I'm in my final moments and am determined to get my 5 min. weight routine in. I've already had smoothie and am pretty much ready to go. We're having trees taken down so I had to remember to leave a check. I think work will be slow today....makes for a very boring day. Other than that, not much happening.

Have a great day everyone!

Good morning!

I was getting ready to start today's thread when I saw that
Ruth
was creating one, then I got distracted. We have brilliant sunshine here, but it's downright frigid out. It may be getting time to turn on the heat in the house.

Well, off to the mines to see what's in store for the day!

Good morning.

Now that we've made it through Halloween, I feel the urge to start Christmas shopping! Now I just need ideas for all my guys; so hard to shop for.

Off to the gym this morning. Then groceries.

My favorite thing about the changing weather is SOUP!

Have a great day.

Good morning Starting my month long work stretch without a real day off. I am going to to visit DD and baby next week but with the understanding that I will make work calls and emails. I keep myself going by looking at the December calendar and counting how many days off I am going to take. Baby time will help, even if I have to do work while I'm there

It's very cold around here. I need to buy more sugar pumpkins to heat the house.

Good morning everyone,
I just loved getting up at 6 and seeing the sun peeking up. Unfortunately, that will end soon :-( but I sort of feel like we're on our way to spring now. I really do feel that the change of seasons is good for the soul. We all need a chance to hibernate.

Yesterday I accomplished a lot and even went out running! Today I need to do some cleaning (during lunch) and run a couple of errands. I'm at work today and have a couple of projects that I need to start.

Ruth, have you delved into Getting Things Done? I'm preparing myself for the "brain dump" exercise.

Good morning,

Busy day today already got my flu shot this morning. Sounds like everyone is doing good.

Yesterday seemed to fly by but I was in bed at 9:15 p.m. tired.

Have a great day everyone

Busy day today, just now do I have an opportunity for non-work related computer time. I am glad that I did get in my workout after school, in spite of a meeting.

I'm not really excited about the early sunset, although it was nice to drive to work in the light this morning. Unlike Matilda, I feel like it is a looooonnnnggg time before it will be spring!

Have a good evening, chicks. Off to make dinner!
