Coffee's good and hot this morning. Sit down and enjoy a cup before getting on with your day.

I'm going to go vote before going to work if the lines aren't too long. The girls have off school today, but they'll be Fox Hunting this afternoon, getting back just in time for Audrey's violin lesson. Cindy will be leaving for an overnight trip to Virginia, so I'll be staying with the girls until Richard gets home. It's going to be particularly noisy today as the crew is breaking through the outside wall for the sunporch. At least yesterday they put up a temporary partition to keep most of the dust and debris out, but it's still filtering through the air and making a fine layer of dust over everything.

What's happening in your day today?

Sounds like a noisy day on tap for you, Linda! A sunporch sounds beautiful.

It's been crazy of course, and my other vet just called in sick. A nasty respiratory virus is striking around here, I hope I don't get it! I have a dinner for work tonight too, so I won't be home late.

My eating has not been great, when I do feel like eating. All the bloodwork was normal, but I get to see doc tomorrow and see what's happening. Nerve wracking! He said to take it easy. LOL, he should know better!

Off like a herd of turtles...

Good morning. Jazz cried at 3 (he gets lonesome) but I ignored him and managed to sleep until nearly six. A miracle!

Linda, I know how delighted you will be when the house reno is done. I can hardly wait to see it! Glad you've made voting your priority on this busy day.

Tammy, sure hope the doc can pin down your butt-dragging problem. There is a lot of weird crud going on around here too. I mean health crud, not the other weird crud.

Yesterday was busy with coffee with the UC ladies, quilting Biddies and then the darned audit in the afternoon. Ernie came to "help" me with that, bringing a bottle of Bailey's! Not sure what that was about but I refused - can't jeopardize my professional integrity by boozing during an audit! Found lots of things that were not right so sent the whole works back to the club with him. No! "I won't just sign it off!"

Today I plan to do a bit of running around - my sears order is in and I need to go to the city to get some quilt binding fabric. I WILL not hit the Chinese Buffet. This afternoon I plan to relax with quilting - we'll see how that plan works out.

Time to crank up the day - the dogs have gone back to bed!

Happy Tuesday!

Good morning! I had a meeting late last night and so I did my chores before I went to bed. Excepting one, which I did this morning,I got a wedding gift boxed to send off to Hawaii today. Kirk just came in from the shop and I'm getting down to smoothie time.

Have a great day everyone!

Tammy, I think I missed the post where you explained why you aren't feeling well. What is going on?

I have off from work today as it's election day. We have a bunch of my son's friends coming over for playground/pizza and then we'll go to a movie. Not sure I'll be able to resist the pizza. At least breakfast and dinner will be on plan.

My parents see the social worker today. Things seem status quo up there, but we're just waiting for the next crisis to hit. It's very depressing.

Hope everyone has a great day...don't forget to vote!

Good morning I already made and ate apple cinnamon oatmeal using the homemade applesauce in the crockpot. That put a smile on my face. Now we head out to vote and then it's work, work , work. I basically have to work every day until 12/4 except Thanksgiving and, if things are going well, the day after, then one more week of normal work and I think I'm taking three weeks off. When the day seems too long I look at the calendar and it doesn't seem so bad

I am working at home so maybe I'll toss some apples in the dehydrator too. The house already smells great.

Good morning.

I'm glad I voted last week. I'll be even more glad when the political phone calls stop!! I have a lazy day today. DH has gotten into a routine of Tuesday being the day he visits his mom; maybe I'll nap when he's gone if the painters don't show up. I think they are almost done. This has dragged on and on and...

Cyndi - Wish I could smell it through the computer! Yum.

Have a great day, chicks.

Good evening! I didn't stop by this morning because I left a few minutes early to vote on my way to work. I knew I had a meeting after work and figured it would be easiest that way.

Cottage, why did the girls have the day off?
Tammy, hope you get some answers soon.
Ruth, hope you got in some quilting.
Matilda, did you resist the pizza? That is one of the things I miss most from my pre-SB days.
Pearl, does your insurance cover the windshield? I have only had 1 replaced and it was the company that comes and does it right at your house. Now that is convenience!
Cyndi, 3 weeks sound like an awesome vacation. And a baby to enjoy as well!
Karen, did you get your nap?

Quiet evening here tonight. I'm making meatloaf and b. sprouts from the garden for dinner.
