Thumbs up PMS..help

I am totally pms'ing and I want fattening foods soo bad. Today I have been able to control myself with the kids fruit snacks and some baked chips but man what can i do?

I am afraid I can eat like 20 candy bars...I just brushed my teeth and were going to take the kids for a bike ride, but after that I may break down..

Try eating some a good protein pan cake.... something dense with lots of protein... Also if you've been working out alot you are making muscles and you will automatically be hungrier... so eat CLEAN but EAT anyways....Try really really hard not to give in to the JUNK... but if you are hungry again eat CLEAN...

Let us know and come back and talk to US if you get cravings again... don't go to the FRIDGE... MOVE AWAY FROM THE FREAKIN' FRIDGE......

I am laughing soo hard right now....and I went into the fridge and grabbed a drinkable yogurt...and 2 hershey's kisses...lol I bought a bag of them before I started this time around and funny enough it's still about 3/4 of the way full, and that includes my kids getting some. That's my "I am freaking out," food.

For dinner I had salmon with shrimp and scallops. I thought I would be full, but I wasn't. I just got back from roller blading.. the 2nd time in atleast 10 years, so you can imagine it wasn't far.

Thanks for the encouragement. I will find something on TV to keep my mind from the goodies!

For me, cravings usually strike when I'm hungry -- like when you said you ate your dinner and were still hungry. I hate when that happens, so what I do is fill my popcorn bowl with lettuce and a FF or low-cal dressing and munch my way through that. When it's just bulk that I'm craving -- just eating to be eating -- that does the trick. If I'm craving sweets, my standbys are oatmeal with chocolate protein powder, SF popsicles or SF jello, or hot chai tea with a splash of skim milk and DaVinci SF vanilla syrup (kind of a mock chai latte). The warm things -- oatmeal and tea -- really seem to fill me up.

If all else fails, I figure it's better to eat more of clean food rather than going off the deep end into a binge, so I'll just eat another meal.

Glad to see you posting! Are you still doing BFL?

altho not technically clean, has very few calories or carbs. It's generally what is mixed with it that has problems. Try adding a tablespoon to a protein pancake and put in some extra sweetener- I've managed to convince myself I'm eating brownies (tho after 2 years of this I'm a bit delusional.)

How did I do with my PMS...well it hasn't subsided..lol but I just had some of my Hershey kisses and that did the trick. I guess I could have been worse and had like 5 Snickers bars.

I love all the help you guys have given me, your a great bunch of women.

Is there someone here that has purchased the trainers edge software or something similar?

If I can ask, what were the biggest goals each of you had to face?

Sorry Meg, yes I am doing BFl in my own sort of way. I am doing a bit more cardio and 1 more day of weights mainly b.c I need it badly.

What was your biggest success?
